YES!! Finally a place to vent my frustrations with this office!!!
I took my business away from this office , years ago after a BIG run in with Shawn's father, Jerry O'Neill whom I'm sure is still around this office. He was the original agent, and then I guess his son Shawn was there too, and looks like he has taken over.

About 5 years ago. (in that vicinity) I was a bad girl and missed a payment on my caravan. They suspended my insurance and wanted to charge me out of the yin yang to restart it again. I didn't have that money at the time, so switched insurance I had on our other vehicle, over to the caravan that I drove with the kids, to keep the same "good line" of insurance. My husband drove another car from work for the time being till I could get all the money together to start up both insurances again. (okay, so things are tight from time to time....and we just didn't have the money that week).  I just needed to have insurance on my van that I drove around with the kids. (full coverage)

So this is all done verbally over the phone. Rosemary in the office (who is whom I've dealt with numerous times including when we first started insurance here years before) verbally told me that she was switching insurance from our Jeep to our Caravan so we could have insurance on the important car.

Next day, I was hit pretty bad on a icy cross way after taking my kids to school. He took off. Go into my insurance office, thinking "thank GOD I switched insurances over to cover my van" which was just involved in a hit and run. (undrivable) Jerry O'Neill gets all pissy with me and says I am not covered. That nothing was ever switched over and I was Sh*t out of luck. "Excuse me"??? I just talked to Rosemary on the phone YESTERDAY and she TOLD me that she switched insurances so I could drive my van again. (before that I was driving the jeep- the one that still was insured) I told him I wouldn't have driven my car without insurance and the only reason I was driving it was because SHE TOLD ME, she switched it.

He goes and asks her, and she denys ever even talking to me on the phone! SAY WHAT???  He starts screaming at me (with other patrons in his store mind you) that I am a liar and that he isn't covering anything! I was amazed that he had the gaul to talk to me that way. He starts accusing me of lying, and that I am horrible because I let the insurance lapse in the first place. (no accidents EVER in my life, first one even claiming , so it's not like I am some accident prone person who lapses on everything) Our family just hit a rough spot, and I couldn't afford it at the moment. I was trying in good faith to fix everything and promised yesterday when talking to Rosemary,a check in two days that would start up the other policy again, so we could be back on track!! Sheesh. Anyways, he is screaming at me, then my husband comes it, screaming at him. (my three kids were with us too) And all out said....your screwed it's your problem.!!

about a week later in the mail, I get the official papers from the main office stating that the insurance was indeed switched over just like Rosemary had originally stated to me, and everything was covered.

All this would have been avoided if Rosemary didn't lie to her boss and say she never switched things over and never even talked to me!!! He didn't even bother to look things up or check into it any further, he just took her word and yelled at us calling us OUT LOUD- LIARS!

THEN, here is the even weirder thing....which freaked me out. U can't miss his always washed and polished silver Lexus that he drives. I'm coming out of my house, going into our Jeep (which we are driving because my van is in the shop) and I see this shiny Mercedes coming down the street. He slows down and starts looking at my house, not realizing I just came out of it, and are watching him, spying on my house. .He catches my eye and then speeds off. We follow him down Irving park and he parks in the lot next to his office. BUSTED! Why would he go out of his way to pass by my house. (I'm not on the main street or anything, and he would of had to be making a special trip there to check out where we lived).

So, I switch agents and are now at Alton Williams closer to my house. He is awsome by the way. I had to write a letter to the main State Farm office requesting agents to be changed. I talked to Alton about this situation, and he was sorry for my experience. We went in again about a month after I switched agents and Alton , mentioned that when he asked Jerry about the passing by my house situation, he told him he was checking out the property that we owned and that was insured through State Farm. I then informed him that, his office wasn't even the holder of my policy. BUSTED again!! So, u tell me..who is the real LIAR! Creepy DISHONEST people.

Alton also told me that he later found out that Rosemary screwed us on another situation way back, when switching policys. In their favor of course!

I've used this State Farm office for years and the office is fantastic!  We started with State Farm when we lived in Old Irving, so this office was quite convenient.  Well, we've stayed because everyone here has been great to us!  The staff is so helpful!  Every claim we've had to have with them, this office and the company, in general, have been great!  There's never a wait on getting a check when we've had claims and they're always honest with us about costs and complications!  I recommend this office because they've been good to us!
