I loved wandering through this store. They had a little bit of everything--snow globes, ornaments, other lil souvenir trinkets, postcards, tee shirts, and the hoodie that did it for me: a black CenCal sweatshirt with a gold star. I stopped dead in my tracks. All of the NorCal and SoCal gear just couldn't compare with the pull of CenCal. I made myself leave the store without buying it, just because I couldn't justify a fourth hoodie. But the lure of the Shark's Grin pulled me back, much like one of those fish who swim towards the predator fish with the fake bait. I bought that sweatshirt and I never looked back. And you know what? It's the most comfy sweatshirt I own. Damn straight. I'll always consider myself CenCal at heart, especially when I'm overlooking the harbor in Morro Bay and gazing out at the gigantic rock. So gorgeous...
