I might be wrong but I think ShamDanai's is the only place in Baltimore where you can get chicken and waffles.  Because I used to live in LA and had been to Roscoe's, I really wanted to like ShamDanai's.  But unfortunately, the food wasn't really that great and the service was poor.  They barely seemed to care my friend and I were there and when the bill came, there seemed to be an error and their response was something like, "Oh, those are old menus with old prices."  We didn't feel like making a fuss so we just sucked it up and left with a bitter taste in our mouths.  Not how you want to feel when you leave a restaurant.
