Definitely one of the best places we stayed in Alaska. The rooms were all recently renovated and decorated with pine "log cabin" style furniture. Rooms were large, and it was very clean.
However, they lose a star because the restaurant had THE WORST breakfast. It was downright inedible. The coffee could not be consumed. We left all of our food. Disgusting. On the upside, the bar was great.
The location is not walkable to town though they do provide a shuttle. All staff was very pleasant and helpful. I do recommend (the rooms are really 4 star) just don't eat breakfast in the restaurant.
I do not agree with Scott T. the hotel was ok but, not the best. You most likely could have found a better one.
