9 reviews for Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery
Seven Bridges is in the same family of restaurants as A1A Ale Works in St. Augustine and Ragtime in Atlantic Beach. I don't know why, but I've always liked A1A better. Maybe it's because I've created better memories at A1A. Maybe it's because I've attended one too many work events at Seven Bridges; I do work only right across the street. Oh well.
My new to town fiance wanted to try it, so I was more than willing to satisfy his wishes. We both ordered appetizers for lunch: me the chicken quesadilla, him the nachos. The nachos are huge, and would have been much better shared. However, they lived up to their expectations. They are the nachos I judge all other restaurants against (both A1A & Seven Bridges have the same menu). The quesadillas were a little surprising as they were sliced a little differently than I was expecting. Maybe one of these days I'll venture to try something different on the menu and be pleasantly surprised.
This is a great place if you enjoy microbrews. Let me just start off with that.
Seven Bridges does brew several of their own beers, and I've found each of them to be good in their own categories. I've only actually eaten the food here once, and as I recall it was an adequate burger with fries. Nothing spectacular there.
As far as this place goes for bar atmosphere though it's high on the list. It's a little bit more upscale, as is it's clientele. There are two pool tables here, though I've found them very rarely used. They have a fantastic outdoor seating area in the back that has, on occasion, live music. I've seen some Dave Mathews wannabes and a few one man bands. General it's the sort of beach type easy listening music you'd expect to find in a place like that. There is a separate outdoor patio seating area in the front that is a bit quieter and more low key than the back.
Smoking is not allowed inside, but you're welcome to outside on the patio areas.
I have been here quiet a few times, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a place that's a bit nicer than a sports bar or chain restaurant. Though you must keep in mind that the prices reflect this as well.
Not the best place in the world, but a good place to grab a drink and dinner with friends.
Weekends have live music out on the patio, pretty good if you're in the mood for some acoustic rock.
The Restaurant and Brewery is large. Atmosphere is good. Outdoor seating is really nice. They have pool tables inside. Beer is good. Spicy artichoke and spinach dip with tortillas is yummy. And, our friend from gainsville, comes up just to have their brunch menu on the weekends =)
They have excellent food and great beers. So far I tried their Cobb Salad & Smokey Mountain Shrimp Pasta and they were both awesome!
They have a waitress that's "got it" and will caters to your every needs & then some. If you're staying near this area, don't bother going anywhere else but just eat there & get your groove on. Two of the amber beers I tried were both good & had good flavor and body but not too much bitterness, not too light.
Ample parking and convenient location. Not much of a family place.
Nice place for a drink with friends. The beer from their micro brewery is excellent - so it's worth a visit solely for their beer. The food is standard but done well and the service has always been great.
This place is over rated. The food is ok, but nothing special. With a group there recently we shared some things including the saltiest calamari I've ever tasted... it was bad, also my friend ordered a side of steak fries and I kid you not... there were 5, for $3.
The prices are high for what you get. The stars are primarily because it is one of the few places where you can actually sit outside. Good atmosphere... but there are better options for food within a 5 mile radius.
Nice place to 'Hang Out', good bar, great micro brewery, nice relaxing decor, outside seating, pool tables! Great bartenders.....food is just OK; I prefer lunch to dinner here. Best thing to order on their bar/food appetizers is Kobe Beef sliders. Good parking, and close to Tinseltown theaters, and Town Center.
A bit pricey for the food and service. The bar is a fun place to meet friends and co-workers. The beer is pretty good, so that's definitely a plus. The menu is pretty big and overall it's not too bad of a place
