I also decided to try this place because of positive reviews on the web. And the service really is impressive. Part of the reason I chose this shop is that they will drive you to your workplace (if it's close) and bring you back when the work is done. The vehicle is clean, roomy, and the mechanics friendly.
The owner, Chris Dean, does an amazing job remembering who said what about which vehicle. Even though his mechanics seem quite capable, he checks everyone's work. He will also talk you through any repair he does, why it costs what it does, why it needs to be done, and choices he made for doing a repair a certain way.
He is very much a perfectionist, and insists on using the parts the vehicle was designed with. For many vehicles this is an excellent thing, and keeps everything running smoother. For my jeep, this was a hoot, but I appreciate his dedication. -

We were in La Habra on vacation visiting relatives when we found ourselves in need of vehicle repairs. We saw other reviews for Service Auto online that were good, so we gave them a call. The owner, Chris Dean, was very helpful and friendly. He was able to get our repair work done in a timely manner, and went above and beyond to assist us.
The cost was reasonable, and the work was well done.

After my mechanic retired, I had to find a new, trustworthy mechanic to go to. I first stopped by just to ask a few questions about my car and also got to see how he interacted with his other customers and business associates and was really impressed. I now go there for my routine oil changes and also would recommend Service Auto Care to anyone that has any question or problem with their car. Chris Dean the owner is a really cool guy and isn't trying to rip off people; he's real and down to earth and easy to talk to.
