Excellent job with my Honda Pilot with the full auto transformation. Vince Serio (and his staff) were very friendly, competent with regards to their work, and finished in 4 hours as quoted. My truck looked JUST as it did when I drove it off the lot brand new in '05 on the exterior and the interior was detailed really well also (due to the aftermath of many a rough nights out, it will never look the same as it did in '05 - but it is the best it has been since). This is my first time getting my truck detailed and I wouldn't hesitate to get my car washed or detailed here again in the near future. I ended up waiting the entire time in their waiting room to finish some work and their facility can't be beat with regards to cleanliness and comfort. Just in case folks are wondering I used the groupon from several months ago and despite getting worried about being hassled/not getting the same level of excellent work that they normally do because of the Groupon, they did an EXCELLENT job. Thanks a lot guys I definitely appreciate your work!
Just really sucks - I got rear ended pretty bad a day later so there goes the detail!!! (Oh well...) -

Serio's full auto-detailing was great, my car looks brand new and smells brand new to boot.
I probably would never have gotten my car detailed had it not been for a groupon that I purchased. Vince gladly took my groupon and scheduled me a couple of weeks out due to the "large" number of new customers coming in. Given that Serio's is not making any money on me or any of the other groupon'ers I was really happy with the level of service that I received. -

DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF DETAILERS OUT THERE THAT WANT YOUR BUSINESS AND WILL GIVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Here's my story:
Purchased four Groupons (2 for me and 2 to give to cleints and gifts) for full Details at Serio's back in Oct and after trying to book multiple times made an appointment almost 2 1/2 months out for this past Friday (2/3/12, ridiculous) We booked both of our cars, one for morning and one for afternoon, with the confirmation that we would switch vehicles. I confirmed this when we dropped my truck off an hour early and was told this was not going to happen. I reminded them that we booked appointments with this plan. He said he would try and would do his best and would call me when ready. He then reminded me my truck would cost an additional $60 due to oversize fee. I said no problem and that I would not be bringing my other vehicle until I heard from him.
Around 3pm and not hearing a word we decided to go over and see about switch vehicles. When we arrived and pulled into driveway, one of the detailers was driving my truck in right in front of us. I noted to my wife that wow they must have just finished! That was until he got out of truck with a fast food bag, which led me to believe he just took my truck to get lunch. I ignored and went to inspect my vehicle only to find that he left his cell phone in vehicle which again if he was only moving it why did he bring his phone and why did he get out with a fast food bag and soda???. I again ignored and handed him his phone.
I began to inspect vehicle and was not very happy with outcome. I commented on crumbs on rugs and noted that they did not touch center council. I then asked him what out Groupon included and he said full interior/exterior detail, full interior shampoo/detail, and exterior detail/polish. I then asked about seats and noted they did not look very clean. His respond this was the best they were going to get. I pointed out some surface dirt that should come off, he said NOPE! (I understand my truck is a work vehicle and I didn't expect everything to come out but when I got home I took a damp towel to stains and they all came off, with very little effort) Next I went to outside and noted hood was very rough and did not seem very smooth or polished. His response was, depends on what your idea of smooth is, looks good to me!!!. Wow, I did not know what to say, so I moved on to asking if they were still going to detail my wife's car. He said not today your to late it was to be here at 1 pm, I didn't even bother talking about our agreement and said forget it give me my bill and keys I'm done walking to service window. The detailer followed me were some choice words went back and forth.
At the service window the owner Mr. Serio confronted me and said, hey what is the problem here I am the owner. I was so irritated at this point; I said his customer service sucks and his employees are rude and that I bought additional Groupons to give to clients as gifts and that now I would never want my customers going to him as this make me look bad. I tossed my ticket on the counter and asked for my bill and keys and that I was done. I commented to him that the point of Groupon was to draw in new clients and to win them over with customer service so they become long-term clients. He said we have plenty of clients.
Mr Serio then backed off; calmed down and said let's look at your truck and see what's wrong. We went back to the truck and went through everything noted above. I pointed out how door jams were not cleaned and how there was still brake dust on rims, etc. His respond was that things are missed and that they do not touch glove boxes of center councils. I then commented that I emptied them for that reason. He then asked me to leave truck, come back later and they would address these items. However at this point I was very frustrated and didn't want his detailer touching my truck. In addition, my wife had been watching all this and had no intention of leaving her vehicle or driving me back a third time to pick my truck up. He said OK then let's settle you owe $60 additional dollars for large vehicle. I originally was expecting to pay this but after what I went through I would have expected him to possibly waive this fee, if I was willing to accept vehicle in this condition. After paying he said give me a call and we'll re-schedule your vehicles. I then asked if it I would have to wait another 3 months to get on schedule? He said yes probably. "Again WOW what service!!!!"
P.S. - At first I though maybe I blow this out of proportion but after reading other Yelp comments relating to Groupon, I realized I am not the only one with this issue.Comment from Vince S. of Serio's Custom Detailing 2/5/2012

I just picked up my car from Serio's and it looks awesome! My 2003 WRX looks brand new again. I was able to drop off my car early in the morning and pick it up after hours.
Vince and everybody else there was really friendly. I will definitely bring my car back here next time it needs a detail. -

My wife and I are very pleased with the quality of service, professionalism and customer experience we received from Serio's Custom Detailing. The staff was friendly, cordial and very accommodating from the initial call to set-up the appointment to the delivery walk-around.
The location is clean, organized and conveniently located with easy access to three major freeways (880, 87 and 280). The waiting room is very comfortable and has complementary coffee.
We used a Groupon offer for a full auto detail to have my mother-in-law's 05' Charcoal Gray Toyota Corolla detailed, and the results were amazing.
Serio's staff did a wonderful job at restoring the paint to its natural show room shine, while also meticulously addressing all the other parts of the car included in the detail package. Additionally, the shop went beyond the scope of the detail package by cleaning the stain on the car's ceiling that had resulted from an exploding Cola can.
My mother-in-law was extremely happy with how clean and shinny her precious car looked...needless to say, Serio's shop made her day and helped me score major brownie points! -

Friendly people and amazingly talented.
I purchased the recently offered Groupon for Serio's and I am pleased to say, I will definitely be going back. I dropped off a very dirty Accord (I'd been hauling around plants) with a giant house paint smear on the passenger side from scrapping my garage entrance. They presented me with a pristine automobile and they were even able to buff out the house paint damage. My car was so shiny I could barely look directly at it! -

Serio's full detail made my 06 look "Brand New" . They have a very stylish waiting area with TV , coffee and snacks. They were all very professional and friendly. My favorite thing to have done is a detail and they have out did themselves. They are the only detail shop I will recommend to any of my friends and family.

Well, let's start at the beginning. Decided to get my truck detailed, as I had just finished a road trip and the weather had finally cleared. This is on a Tuesday. Sergio's is closest, so there I start. Talk to Vince, get a fair quote. The problem being he can't see me till Friday. I tell him I was really hoping to get in earlier than that, as the mess was bugging me, but I would agree to Friday if he knocked 20 off. He agrees. Tells me, " I get in around 8, so see you then."
It is now Friday. Not being a morning person, I had to set my alarm, which I glared at when it went off at the ungodly hr of 7:30. I show up about 8:10. Call, leave messages on machine and cell. Repeat every 15 minutes till about 9:10. Finally, I get a call back. Say's that his uncle crashed and died on a bike the day before. I tell him I am sorry to hear that. Now comes the rude part.
" So, sorry bout that but that's why I was not there. So we will have to reschedule."
Now, at this point after 4 unreturned calls, I am still willing to toss him some biz, in sympathy even though I really wanted to get the truck done the week before.
"Sure, no problem. When would you wanna set up?"
"Whenever I am fucking done. Call me next week or I'll call you, ASSHOLE"
Sorry for your loss dipshit, but
1: try returning calls and no one will have their time wasted
2: the previous words out your mouth were "let's reschedule"

Serio's is great!
I randomly found Serio's soon after he opened this shop. Then I realized I knew him from a long time ago, and was happy to give him a try. He detailed my Lexus IS 300 and did an awesome job. My car felt new, it was great. I now need to get my Mercedes ML detailed and was so stoked to see a groupon a couple months ago. I tell everyone I know to take their car here. He really cares and does a good job and the price is so right! -

After waiting two weeks for an appt to have the outside of my car "detailed", which to every other shop in town means using a cutting compound and buffer to clean and then polish the paint, I picked up my car, after hours, and found waterspots and birdcrap that I knew was there previously still on my paint. I could have cleaned it in my driveway in 15 minutes better than what they did.
I left a message about my dissatisfaction on the phone machine, and this clown with a bad attitude calls me back and curses me out on the phone!
Very Unprofessional and generally lousy work..
Cheap, but you get what you pay for. -

I went to Serio's for my car detail yesterday and will definitely be coming back. Jose did an excellent job - he got so many nicks and scratches out from my exterior and even took out a small paint smudge from my interior leather. I highly recommend Serio's. I feel like I'm driving a brand new car!

I came to Serio's for the recent Groupon deal, and I'm pleased with the work. They were polishing some very fancy classic cars when I arrived, so I was feeling a little self-conscious about my Accord. But the guys were really nice about it and were very accommodating about my requests for specific areas of my car that I wanted cleaned. Maybe because of that, they didn't clean other small areas of my car that I hadn't specified, like the place where I kept my change (a chapstick had melted there before), or the door "pockets". That being said, for $80, they did a great job, and I tipped well for their trouble.

Serio and his mom was very helpful, his mom was very nice and pay attention to my needs and not trying to up sale me, it hard to find honest business now a day, and serio was very enthusiastic and really take pride in his works not a lot of business owner would do the work themselves anymore, car turn out very nice I wish I couldve time to stay and watch the work but nevertheless I would recommend this place to everyone. Honest, quality, and friendly is what I would sum up about serio's custom.

I brought in my 2001 BMW 540 - I felt like I drove away in a 2010. The car looked great inside and out. I bought the Groupon certificate - and like most small business that offer a great deal on Groupon they were overwhelmed so I had to bring the car in on a weekday. But, Ben couldn't have been more accommodating with allowing me to drop my car off in the morning and pick it up the next morning. I think when you buy a groupon you need to cut some slack.
Another plus compared to other like places: The shop is really nice, has wi-fi, had decent coffee and is really clean. I will be bringing my wife's car there soon for same transformation.

Found Serio's via Groupon for a half off detail. The result was a solid car wash but far from detail versus other detail shops I've used in the past. Not sure if it was due the fact that I was first time client via Groupon, that i have an average car or they just aren't that good. I was hoping to find a new detail shop. I did not and am still looking.

Serio's does and amazing job on your car, it will look like new!
For the same price, or even less you can get a hand wash that will leave your car sparkling. Far better than any other run the mill car washes.
Dues to the influx of business (which is always a good sign) I would suggest calling ahead of time and making an appointment.

I purchased a Groupon for Serios back in April ($200 value) as a gift to detail my mother in laws SUV. I contact Serios in July. The first thing they asked was whether or not I had a groupon. Then Serios explained that there was a $60 groupon up charge for the SUV, regardless of size, and that the $200 value was of no consequence. I agreed to the up charge and was scheduled for a detail for today (8/3/2011). I called yesterday to make certain he could honor my appointment. He told me he over booked and that it would be 4 weeks till his next available appointment. He also said he could no longer honor my groupon. Groupon refunded my money. Was looking forward to experiencing their detail service but the only thing I got to experience from Serios was a bad attitude.

Vince has washed my BMW a few times and he does an awsome job. Sooo much better than any car wash around.
The other day a bicycle ran into my car and scratched the hood. He was able to buff it out completely!
Go there once and you'll never want to go to a regular car wash again. -

Just wanted to comment on Mr. Serio's comment below. Sir, you were not there when I dropped off my vehicle.. nor there when my husband called in to complaint about the poor job done. Both me and my husband were NEVER rude to any of your staff. I wish you would have taken before and after pictures of my vehicle as well, so everyone can see what a mediocre job your staff perform.. then again there is a reason why you don't. Since when is a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition ready for a junkyard.... you are a liar! I find it extremely convenient that you get 2 five star reviews each and every time someone gives you a 1 star review.. Your comment below only reinforces my opinion of your company. I don't need to drag your name through the mud.. your company takes care of that one all by itself. Keep having your friends and family write fake 5 start reviews.. it may get people in the door, but your ordinary, low value, low quality services and bad attitude makes sure no one ever comes back. You are a liar and a poor business man.

NO "DETAIL" IN THIS JOB! SERIOS IS A RIP-OFF AND A SHAM!
A few weeks ago I took my car in for a full detail job and the work that was done was about 50% of the job. Serios did not provide even the minimum that I expected.
They did vacuum the car out, but did not vacuum the bins/pockets where I found dirt and paper while I was inspecting the car.
The visors were not cleaned and coffee cup holder still had old coffee crud on it. It took me a minute to clean it myself, but I expected that to be part of the job.
All over the inside on the vinyl material were spots of dirt they did not remove. The vinyl panels inside the doors still had dirt and marks because they didn't clean them.
The dash looked like a quick swipe was done with a wet cloth....after I applied Armorall myself it looked really shiny like I thought it would from their job.
The tracks that the front seats sit in still had dirt. I had to vacuum the tracks out myself and then use a toothbrush to reach in about an extra inch to get the rest.
I actually spent another hour on the inside of the car to finish the cleaning part that I thought they would do. I will have to have it waxed to get the shine I should have gotten from Serios.
On the outside of the car, there were dead bug spots and a layer of dirt on the car....when I ran my fingers across the paint of the body my fingers came up dirty. So, altho I wasn't there, I'm guessing they didn't even wash the car...maybe they just buffed it for about 2 minutes and called it a day.
I could find no evidence of any wax on the car and it did not shine like a new wax job. When I touched the paint it did not feel smooth like a wax job.
They told me they used a clay bar, but there were several white marks on the back bumper that I simply took off with my thumb nail. How could they have missed the bumper??
Here is my recommendation: Don't go to Serios if you want a full detail job on your car.
If you are willing to pay full price for a 50% job, then this is your kinda place.
If you stand there and watch them every minute, they may do a good job.
But, in my opinion, they don't have the motivation or show the responsibility to do a professional job.
ps. As to the other yelpers who had to wait until they opened, the same happened to me but I let it go. I was there on time (8 AM) and they opened the doors 10 min late. I was just interested in getting a professional job. Again, I wish I had gotten what I paid for. -

I found this Car Detailing place through a Groupon ad and was happily pleased at the excellent work! Not only did they give a courtesy reminder call the day before, but detailed my car in only 3 hours! I've had detail work in Ausitn and Southern California and got a steal of a deal!

Fabulous, Fabulous Work....VInce pays close attention to detail and my car always leaves in perfect condition. Very comfortable seating and waiting area, which is always a bonus. Won't be going anywhere else...Vince is truly the best in this area!!!
