Umm.. so if you know me well, you'd know that I am a connoisseur of make up. That's right. You should see my collection.
Anywho, when I walked into Sephora-nobody helped us!! Granted, I was helping my mom pick out makeup brushes and do all that jazzy stuff. C'MON! I used to work at Nordstrom (you would know this if you read my previous reviews) and I must say, customer service is paramount. If your organization does not follow through in customer service you can kiss repeat customers good-bye.
I would never go here again. Especially after I was scowled at by some of the other customers. Jesus, what type of crowd goes here??!

I really like this particular Sephora because of it's proximity to Disneyland, the staff is friendly. I've gone in there a half a dozen times this year and was always given samples of the perfume I asked for! Although I received a gift card from my best friend I shopped online because of the shipping and box and bag that it comes in, also the size of the perfume I wanted wasn't available in the store at the time.
All in all it gets 5 stars from me

I remember when you first opened your doors to let me inside of you.
:sigh: There was no turning back after that. You let me see your high end anti wrinkle creams and shampoos. I've sampled your shadows and glosses so many times. Will it ever end? Will I ever tire of spending hundreds of dollars on you? Will I purchase a product that will make me look terrible or feel horrible on my skin?
I doubt it.

Sometimes, I have to close my eyes and swiftly walk by in fear of giving in to you and your hedonistic ways.
Must you continue to flaunt yourself? If you'd just stop showing me your goods, maybe I'd actually be able to control myself!

In that case, I'll have to continue buying my $30 glosses and $60 creams. I hate you Sephora!

the nearest sephora to my house. the people that work there are always helpful. always go here to buy my makeup needs..
I found my most favorite perfume here like two or three years ago. They don't carry it here anymore, so i buy it online. Not only that but it's like $25 cheaper online. That's my beef with Sephora. It's the most beautiful, delicious, wonderful store ever. But i can't afford ANYTHING here. Who wants to spend $25 on one color of eyeshadow?!? Sorry, i'm sure most of you don't mind if it's worth it. But i just don't care that much. I buy my eyeliner at Rite Aid and i bet you all think that's trashy but it's the best eyeliner i've ever purchased. Hands down.
Sephora is like window shopping for me and it's just depressing, unless i'm buying a gift for someone. The sales associates are thickly coated in makeup, hair and perfume and wonderfully willing to answer my dumb questions about, like, is this makeup tested on animals? and how much time and products would i have to invest in to make my skin look all clear n purdy like yours?
Their gift cards come in a card, inside a compact, wrapped in tissue paper, and placed in a bag. That's a lot of effort for a $25 gift card that i got my friend so she can buy herself one color of eyeshadow.

I love Sephora. When British Airways lost my luggage in Europe, I knew I could count on Sephora to help me replace my make-up.
Even though this Sephora is in Downtown Disney, I still prefer to go to this location instead of other Sephora's in Orange County. They have a great selection of make-up and they are usually keep all of their make-up in stock. (The Sephora at the brea mall does a poor job keeping make-up in stock.) The only down-side about this location when Disneyland is super crowded, its hard to find parking because the DD lot will be full.

i was a Sephora virgin until the day i walked in here, year 2000. this place made me WANT to wear makeup, buy shiny glosses and use smelly shampoo. forever and always, i will be a Sephora loyalist. they have everything you need, and things you havent even heard of...the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! just another reason why Disneyland is the Happiest place on Earth..

Employees here are super friendly. Even on Christmas Eve, I got a ton of help. I was given samples of a couple products and bought just the right gift for a friend. What's great too is Sephora's return policy-- try it, you don't like it? Come back, and get store credit for the whole thing. It's awesome to invest $50 and just keep trying until you get it right. I'm not a big makeup fan, but this is the place to come for fragrances and Philosophy merchandise. Love it! I prefer to come here rather than go to South Coast Plaza, where I feel the employees aren't as friendly or helpful.
I was amazed at how well organized this place was for the amount of traffic there was in the store, and the store itself was huge. I worked retail all through college, and I know what a pack of wild shoppers can do to a display. This shop was well stocked, and there were tons of employees wandering about helping people. A totally friendly girl who couldn't have been older than 20 helped me pick out some new mascara, and I am very satisfied with it (Fresh "Supernova" if you are curious). All of the employees I ran into were super nice and ready to be of assistance. I was VERY surprised by how put together this place was despite the large quantities of people tramping through the shop.
