This is where I go for my self-care massage.  They clearly worked very hard to create an atmosphere that feels healing, and that really adds to the experience.  It is a warm and welcoming environment, and the people who work here are sweet, considerate, and good at what they do.  I always leave feeling much much more relaxed than I felt when I came in.

Based on the advice of a friend, I purchased a gift certificate from Sensorielle for a Swedish Massage for my girlfriend. The purchase itself went smoothly, and I was able to print the certificate myself instead of having it mailed to me; props to Sensorielle for making this easy.

So she made her appointment and went in, but before being given the massage, she was pressured into doing something else called life mapping or something like that by the massage therapist. So even though she really just wanted a massage she ended up sitting there being poked, prodded and questioned by a person that didn't seem to understand what they were doing (apparently there were frequent stops to check reference books). So she felt more like a practice subject than someone receiving a service.

Clearly she was not happy with how things turned out. So I sent an e-mail using the contact form on the website. It promises a one day response time, but I never heard from them at all. So I called, but the manager wasn't in so nobody could help. A day later I got a call back which was a pleasant surprise, and she said that what my girlfriend had experienced had been an issue for some time, it was no longer happening, and my girlfriend could come back for another massage.

She hasn't gone back yet, so I'll leave this at three stars for now, and update after she has returned for her new massage.

In order to maintain the small amount of dignity and manhood I still posses, I am going to forgo the details of why I visited this establishment.

I will say it was not the most comfortable experience of my life, and no, I do not "mean like the back of a Volkswagen?"
(Mallrats...props if you know)

Regardless of the physical discomfort inherent in this ordeal, Leighla, the esthetician, was awesome.  She did her best to make me feel comfortable, and was extremely informative and caring.  She took her time and in no way hurried the process.

Star 1 - Convenient location just off Pearl Street Mall (13th)
Star 2 - Easy to get appointment
Star 3 - Cool, relaxing music and chill vibe to the place
Star 4 - Reasonable prices for services.
Star 5 - Excellent esthetician *Leighla* who was great

Come in. Relax. Take a deep breath. Walk through the luscious green plants, past the calming waterfall and straight to the ancient looking totem pole table. Nibble on some grapes, chocolates or ginger bread cookies. Wash them down with some lemon water or hot tea, while listening to nature sounds, Thai music or chanting monks.
