This is a beautiful modern hotel. The room is absolutely beautiful, the bathroom beautiful, and the beds are very comfortable with memory foam and memory foam pillows (plus regular pillows if memory foam pillow is not your thing). The shower is very awesome too, one of those rain shower heads where the water comes on you from above.

The only downside is it is perhaps TOO energy efficient..the air conditioning kept turning off at night and would only reactivate if you waved your hand in front of the motion detector to turn it on again.

It is in a PERFECT location, beach is visible from most windows and its literally across the street. The beach in that area (4th street) is not nearly as crowded as other sections of south beach. Kind of private.

It's very quiet at night and the pool area is beautiful. It's not a swimming pool in that it is not very deep..it's designed just for lounging and sitting in the underwater bench. The rooftop has a lot of tables and chairs, perfect for a lunch or breakfast you might take up there. The hotel has no bar or restaurant, it's very basic.

The service was excellent as well, Alex at the front desk answered all our questions and recommended tons of good places to eat.

This to me, is the best possible place to stay in South Beach. Another small downside is it is in the extreme southern portion of South Beach, so if you want to go to Lincoln Avenue it can be quite a walk in intense Florida heat, but cabs are plentiful and cheap.

Park at the garage on 7th and Collins, it's cheap and large.

This hotel IS very moden, new, and clean BUT VERY Stark, plain, quiet, and understimulating. The hotel lobby is much larger than it needs to be, it would be much better if they filled the space with a bar - or anything to stimulate the senses.

I will admit, Alex gave amazing customer service, but when that guy had the day off there was a woman standing at the front desk in his place ((Alex called her the manager)) who was a complete idiot, she was rude, and she was on personal phone calls every time I walked up to the front desk.

Overall, the decor in this place is pretty cool, but I notice the entire hotel is light and bright --and when you get in the elevators it's dark and well, dark. The eleators did not match the decor of the rest of the property - kinda weird. Especially weird getting into the dark elevators after being at the pool in the sun.

We payed extra for a room with an "ocean view" ...we could see the ocean alright with a birds eye view. If you are going to stay here, do NOT pay extra for any view.

I did enjoy the location of this hotel - it was very quiet at night and only one block away from Yoga on The Beach. The hotel will provide Beach Towels and Beach Chairs at no cost --which was a huge plus. ((but the B**ch at the front desk wasn't going to tell me that -- I had to find out from Alex the second day I was there))

The pool is fantastic, but I was the only person there. BORING.

I might consider staying at this hotel again, the price was decent, BUT I would certainly look elsewhere first.

This place was amazing! I am not sure if i can fully explain my experience but I cant rave about it enough. The staff was perfect! We arrived late and we were greeted by Alex at the front desk. He made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Didn't want us to lift a figure basically. Even brought ice to the room, usually i see a machine. He always had recommendations on where to go or to eat.
It is still a new hotel, opened in May. So its still very pretty. All white in the front area. The rooms were a good size. The beds were unbelievable i wish i could have stolen the bed to be honest. The hallway on our floor was red which was fun but coming in from the sun was tricky on the eyes. No one was at the pool really but they were working on it when we were there. Not a problem though we spent most the time at the beach.
Parking was $25 for valet. I got lucky and found a spot right next to the hotel but they will direct you places to park. I did get 2 tickets down there, oopps! But they were cheaper than valet LOL.
Overall, i plan on staying here again. i got a great deal on http://Bookit.com. I dont know if it will ever be that price again but its well worth the money!
