Went on a trip with a group to spend the day at the casino. This one reminds me of the original Seminole Casino In Miami off Griffin Road. The place was just like any other casino. I like the fact that it wasn't crowded. They walk around and offer your drinks while you are playing and have two restaurants to eat while you are there. They also have a hotdog stand outside so you can get away from the smoke. Great little get a way for the day.

did not go to the casino..only went to check out the bbq festival in back..
only had a few "bbq" stops..some indian crafts and some music...
and the speakers were so loud and pointed right down the middle of the fairway...
so you couldnt even hear the people to order the food...
had some good ribs tho... -

Not smoke free. Expect to lose your money.

I have been to many casino's over the years and the Seminole is not my favorite. The slots don't pay as well as most casinos. They don't offer many perks either.
If you want a soda while your playing...that will cost you money. If you want a drink dig deep because the drinks here are expensive. $8.50 for a so so bloody Mary. $3.00 for an ice tea that you cant take out of the restaurant.
The food at the restaurants is not bad, but again high priced. Most sandwich's run around $13.00 and you don't get anything special for that kind of money.Listed in: Things to do

A decent casino that isn't too much of a hike from Fort Myers. My friend and I took the trip within a couple days of my moving to Fort Myers, and it was about a 50 minute drive to the casino.
Seminole Casino is clean and hassle free with plenty of room to move around. Be sure to get your player's card before you play any slots or table games.
The absolute biggest disappointment for me is that Seminole Casino doesn't have table roulette, nor does it have Big 6. Seriously, I was devastated because these are my two favorite casino games of all time. It does have four video roulette consoles, but they don't give points on your player's card.
Another minor disappointment (more like an annoyance) is that I didn't get a single comp the entire night. It was worse than being at Tropicana in Atlantic City.
I actually didn't experience any problem with cigarette smoke as others have, and let me tell you - I am highly allergic to cigarette smoke, and I'd be the first to complain about it. -

this is a casino to let it all hang out. we mainly hung around at the $15 blackjack table, and came out winners! (won $150). i love gambling..so fun! there were also quite the variety of really fun 5 cent slots.
i was skeptical that this might be a sketchy casino but was pleasantly surprised. full of regulars, this is a locals casino, with random visitors from naples (like me). the dealers were all super nice, and security wasn't overbearing.
i was sad beers are $4 at the table (its free in vegas!!) but oh well.
and even though it was smoky, it was fun to light up a clove to celebrate in the winners circle.
yay!!!! -

This would have been two stars, but since I last visited, thankfully, it's been expanded. If only casinos had to follow the state laws re "no smoking" in bars, restaurants, etc. it might have gotten four stars. However, since I lost money (big surprise) maybe two stars. I'm confused. Actually, it's a typical smoky, noisy, crowded casino like so many others. It is what it is.
