Wow, I just saw that Segue is having a Yelp deal for first time customers! Too bad I am not a first time customer otherwise I would snag up on that deal in a jiffy!
I am however a FOREVER Customer of Segue Body Wraps, and this is because I have realistic weight goals and realize that eating healthy and regular exercise definitely enhances your results....
I came here for the Combo Wrap (1 Mineral & 1 Sudatonic) before leaving for vacation to Kauai where I would be strutting around the island in a bikini all day. I lost 6 inches throughout my entire body and the bloating went bye-bye which I was super stoked on. This is why i will be a FOREVER customer, because I want to maintain these results...
I am pretty small, but it's because I eat healthy, exercise regularly, and get my Mineral and Sudatonic wraps at Segue.
Thank you Segue!
5 STARS for their superb customer service!
5 STARS for the best wrap deals in town!
5 STARS for their extremely convenient location!
5 STARS for easy parking! -

To put this direct to the point...
I have been looking around for a place such as Segue for a while. My wife has been wanting to get a body wrap and try and lose a few inches. After reading information regarding the process, I found that Segue offered the best work around. The owners are very informative and know what they are talking about. I would recommend this to everyone. -

A Short&Sweet Review..... Shorter than most reviews and sweeter than a quick tip.
SHORT (not so great....)
1. Nothing can replace a healthy diet and exercise. However, if you want to fit into a tight pair of jeans and sucking in doesn't work, this may be the next best thing! The results are not permanent but long enough for that one date, party, etc...
2. From speaking to the owner, they are planning to add a salon. I'm not sure if I like the idea of hearing a blow dryer while trying to enjoy the spa-like atmosphere BUT you can get a hair cut, body wrap, and a spray tan all in one place (in the future)!
3. I was tempted to get a spray tan because I was getting bored watching my mom on the elliptical. The entire body wrap thing lasted about an hour.
SWEET (the good!)
1. My mom asked me to take her here because she had a gift certificate. I wasn't planning to go but she insisted and I couldn't say no. I didn't regret it one bit because seeing my mom happy and hanging with her is priceless IMO.
2. They measured my mom before and after the body wrap. She lost a little over 7 inches all over (an inch on each thigh, 3/4 of an inch around the waist, and I didn't catch the rest)! How you like them apples... I worked my ass off at the gym and probably shaved off 2 inches around my waist over the last two years and gain one back this past two weeks! Damn holidays....
3. My mom walked out of there happy, which made me happy... like #1...priceless. -

I found a deal on this online, i think on groupon, but they also let me purchase as many packages of that price throughout that month as i wanted in person. $69, which is a great price for a Mineral Wrap.
Both girls are amazing. They are friendly and professional. You do have to strip down to your undies to get wrapped, and i feel awkward looking at myself in the mirror while getting done, but the girls never made me feel awkward. Then you do some light exercise, while they spray you every once and a while to keep you warm, and you get to watch Friends! (i wish i had my glasses/contacts on haha) I did experience some chaffing from the wrap, but if you tell them then they'll either fix it or tell you to just swing instead to avoid it.
The results were great, i did feel better, and i lost like 8 inches (all over). The thighs were my hot spot, some areas you may lose less than an inch. The results weren't long lasting for me, especially since I didn't combine it with any diet/exercise. But its especially good if you need to fit into something for a day or have a special event to go to.
Make sure to bring some extra underwear as it'll be damp from the wrap, and some tight fighting pants to experience the effect.
As for the infrared treatment, I wasn't really satisfied with that, as I didn't really lose any weight, and only like point something percent body fat. I think its best to come in and be hydrated, because I was dehydrated so its probably my fault. She was nice enough to let me drink some water out of a straw. Your heart rate goes up, and for the next few days, its best to exercise as you'll lose more calories in those days. I didn't experience any discomfort during the treatment, although i did get bored because you just lay there for a while.
Someone mentioned the Sweet Sweat commercial, there was that, and it could get annoying, but I didn't have to wait too long anyway. And at one point, there was a girl there that even gave me a free foot detox. -

I went here with a Reader Steals (I think) coupon for a $25 foot detox. It was a pretty enjoyable atmosphere; you basically sit in a back room with your feet in hot water for 30 minutes while you chill out. My water was orange in the end which meant my joints needed detox, and I definitely do have joint issues so that was cool.
There were a few points I found a little off.
A) When I was in the room, I was taken to the first seat & there was bamboo next to me (or something) so I couldn't see anywhere else in the room. It was very quiet so I though I was alone for about 20 minutes until I heard someone in a bed moving around next to me on the other side of the screen. That was a little off-putting; what if I had farted or something?!
B) The lady who helped me (didn't get her name but she was very nice) said she'd check on me every 10 minutes & hooked me up to a pulse-monitor machine. However, she didn't check on me at all through the whole thing...so the itchy pulse monitor bracelet seemed like a waste.
C) I was definitely in there for 47 minutes (I have learned to time my spa treatments). I mean, I'm not one to complain about a spa treatment lasting longer than it's supposed to but I started getting bored & my feet were turning all prune-y.
All in all it was a good experience & I did sign up for a wrap at a discounted rate so I'll be back.Comment from rachel l. of Segue Body Wraps 3/16/2011

This place is very strange. My friend and I bought the foot detox through Reader Steals. First off, their lobby has this infomercial for "Sweet Sweat" running over and over - think Shake Weight commercial and you get the drift. Hard to relax. The foot detox is basically sitting in a room for a half hour with your feet in lukewarm water which changes color based on the toxins that are released. Hm. According to their chart, my black water indicated that I had liver problems. The girl who checks you out tells you this, but not what it really means - just that you need more treatments. Also, while you are "relaxing," all you can hear is the rhythmic squeaking of women on ellipitical machines, wrapped head to toe in plastic.
What. The. Hell. If I'd paid $50 for this, I'd be furious. But $25 was bad enough. What a joke.Comment from rachel l. of Segue Body Wraps 10/13/2010

I went back recently for a mineral wrap. Couldn't resist the price with the deals they had online (readersteals). I hadn't done one in a while because I was addicted to the suda wraps for so long. It was nice to switch it up and kinda do a "maintenence" wrap to detox and firm up. I had just finally got the point of nearly reaching my pre-preggo weight, so it was definitely time for a mineral wrap to top it off!
I think people just need to be more realistic about their expectations when they come in and get a wrap. I mean, come on now.. it's not a miracle maker. If you are hella fat... you aren't going to walk out of there skinny. duh. but you will walk out of there with your skin a little firmer (thus, the inch loss) and more revived because the toxins and icky stuff have been released. If anything, it may motivate you to go do something healthy and active afterwards to keep with the momentum. =)
Rachel was a sweetheart as always. She wrapped me up real tight and was attentive to me throughout the time I was there. I had spoken with Michelle in handling with my readersteal coupon and scheduling. She totally answered all my questions with regards to use of the deal. I had no problem booking my appt and using the coupon.
My skin felt great afterwards and I toned up a few inches! whoot. I gotta go schedule another appt soon before my other coupon expires! =D1 Previous Review: Show all »

I was introduced to this place by my cousin and the deal they had going on http://Readersteals.com. It was for the Sudatonic wrap! Wow! Who knew I could bare that much heat and lose some inches! Definitely a quick fix before special occasions. For me personally, it helps me get to my goal along with my outdoor fitness workouts I'm doing. It really helps! Michelle and Rachel take really good care of me while i'm there, always checking up on me in case the heat is too much or the wrap is too tight. I was surprised to see that the sudatonic works! Slowly but surely! After laying there napping in a big plastic bag full of my own sweat and toxins, I am ready to get out 50 minutes later. They weigh me before and after and check my body fat percentage as well.
I love this place! I was so in love with my sessions that I purchased more!! I shall be back!Comment from rachel l. of Segue Body Wraps 10/13/2010

Here's the thing, we all know this, there isn't a magic cure, instant weight loss, secret tip to getting in shape and staying fit. There's things to help you, but the main thing is a healthy lifestyle.
I wasn't extremely overweight, by the time I discovered Segue body wraps I had already lost about 30 lbs and was eating right while working out but I wanted to just tighten a few inches here and there without having to go under the knife.
I came into segue body wraps b/c I was guaranteed that i'd lose atleast a certain amount of inches (don't remember how much) or my next wrap was free, so i said hey gotta try to learn right. My first wrap I lost about 8 inches, although that may not sound like a lot, I lost it where I needed it, which was my thighs and stomach. From losing weight I had loose skin.
Now I continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and about once every other month go in to Segue's spa for either a slender wrap or their new infared sudatonic wrap. i always feel lighter and just nice after.
Their mineral magic vitamin drink is pretty beneficial as well, I used to take centrum, but now just the mineral magic b/c since it's liquid it metabolizes faster and keeps me energized. -

Did not notice any difference whatsover, honestly think its a waste of money. She claimed I lost about a 1/2 inch all over my body-- but she was the one who did both meaurements, so who knows if she was lying or not.
Also, Im pretty sure if i wrapped any part of my body up that tightly for an hour, the pressure would cause it to shrink a half inch.
The bandages caused chaffing on my legs which was uncomfortable on the gazelle. I will not be back.Comment from rachel l. of Segue Body Wraps 10/13/2010

I bought a gift certificate for my friend for her birthday. She called and had questions. She said they were rude to her on the phone and was hesitant to keep her appointment. When she went in, they were again rude to her. She decided not to stay and keep the appointment. I kept my appointment and although I did not feel they were rude, I had to keep asking what I was supposed to do instead of them explaining the process. I was also not comfortable stripping naked in front of the technician. I do not think they are professional and would not go back there. I bet their friends wrote those good reviews!

I came here a couple of times before I got pregnant over a year ago. They were great - helped me drop some inches and some serious poundage. They got 5 stars from me then. Now I'm back post-preggo and their services don't feel the same anymore. It feels like they're doing shortcuts now. They're not putting in much care as before. They've cut down the time. Instead of a full hour their services are now just 50min. When doing the wrap, I remember they would bring me back every 15min to add a tighter wrap around the torso and rewet me with that mineral solution. Now, I get less then 50min on that gazelle machine and then a rewet sometime in the middle while still on the machine. In the suda, sometimes I can't get a sweat going cuz the person just threw me halfway in there and leaving before I can get a word saying I don't feel like I'm in it. They say I'll check on you in 10min, but that really means I'll check on you when I remember. And that's usually when your time is almost up. What's also weird is sharing that room with someone getting a foot detox. Really? You couldn't put that in another room? Im laying there in my undies and a stranger on the other side of the screen is sitting there? Makes me feel awkward. Like, do I strike up a conversation or should I just lay here for 50min thinking about it? I really love Rachel cuz she's like the sweetest person. But I'm sorry to say Segue isn't the same anymore. =(

I came to Segue to see if I could shed a couple of inches around the waist. I had a big event to attend the night after and I wanted to look GOOD! Let me just say not only did I lose 9 whole inches around my body that day,I am still shedding the pounds away. It's amazing.Since the wrap I've lost nearly 8 pounds in one and a half months. I highly recommend this place. Atmosphere was awesome and Rachel is just the sweetest person. She explained clearly the benefits the wrap and how it would make me feel great. She's RIGHT on the dot.

First I bought the Groupon for either 2 suda's or 1 body wrap $69.
I made my appointment, showed 15 mins early. 15 mins.later I was greeted. The Gal asks what I'm there for and I say I have an appointment...she says you know you needed to get here early, your time might be shortened because I need you to fill out paperwork and they are ready for you now. I tried to tell her I was here waiting and she said she did not hear me, next time walk to the back! Whew, crappy first impression.
I hate to write long reviews but this place was so unprofessional. I got the suda, it is nothing like their video online on their site. It is prob. the cheapest version, like a sleeping back you get mummy wrapped in plastic and zipped in arms and all but your head. You have to put the cream on yourself, w/o directions of where to put it. The Tech or Owner will ask you if you'd like the boost, she said everyone gets it and it makes a big difference. The only difference is $10 . They say they will check on you, but they don't. There are no monitors or buzzers if something goes wrong. I get weighed and BMI and no difference whatsoever, except I am warm.
I pay the $10 extra and the gal says she can offer me the groupon price again but only before I leave? Hmmm, well, I still had one suda left to use and so feeling pressured, I say sure...another $69 and I have an appointment to do both types on December 30th right before New Years and perfect for when my Marine Husband gets home!
A week later I get a call to cancel my appointment, due to their remodel I am traveling in my car out of state for Christmas. I'm in my car, don't have a calendar, it is 830 pm and dark and Michelle starts throwing dates at me...I tell her I cant decide because I wanted the date I had so I looked better for New Years Party. I say I cant commit and will call her back when I get back home.
After leaving many messages to try and book my appointment, I get a call back from Michelle and she will book me..she then says, oh, hey you are the one who did not keep your appointment? You were a no-show. I say nope never made one you cancelled me? She runs her mouth up and down about running a business and she is not wrong and tells me how she gave me a good price, how I was undercharged before and then she says that I lost the appointment due to no show. I say hey no way! She says she will do me a favor, but I better show up this time. Gosh, I should have stopped here.
Today I went for my appointment and it started off ok. They still have curtains that gap for the dressing area openings. It is intimidating to have a co-ed spa and not have privacy for dressing/undressing. They did not offer to wrap my head like their website says! I asked so she said I would later. It was supposed to last 1 hour, 15 mins for prep and 45 on the machine! I got 28 minutes. It was very cold. The ellipticals are old and look like they were all found at garage sales. Got unwrapped, got measured then went to the Suda. Pretty much same story, go back, put on cream on myself, lay down and will be checked every 10 mins....20 goes by and she pops in and out real quickly...had to yell to get her attention (I wanted my face wrap removed as it was choking me). I get done a few minutes later. Get weighed after, but they did not weigh me before? She compares it to last appointment from 2 months ago...and no changes.
The clincher here is on my way out the door she stops me and says that I owe here $10 service charge for having to re-schedule! She shows me in the book that by my name is a $10 sign! I told her now way. She said she is running a buisiness and that she could have just not given me the appointment at all. Again, I can't say more than one or two words. She is in ear shot of other clients. She says I am cheating her and I quote, "I guess I will just have to Live and Learn that there are people like you!"
So, Michelle or whatever your name is....you need to go to business school and learn how to treat / make customers. I am not a lier, cheat or anything but a gal who wanted to try out the coupon you dangled my way and I got so much stress over it. I hope whomever reads this thinks twice before buying.
If you go to their website at http://www.seguebodywr... and go to the bottom of the page and click frequently asked questions; you will see that they say they will do the face wrap and tapping it is part of the wrap..but they will not even offer this to you, you have to task them. Also click the sudatonic wrap tab to view the suda description and photos and a nice little video...all of which are nothing like what you will get.Comment from rachel l. of Segue Body Wraps 3/16/2011

This is one of the most comfortable salon/spa type service place I've ever been to. Michelle and Rachel were very friendly, accomodating, and informative. Be that it is my first time ever trying out body wraps, they were ver good with making it a fun and comfortable experience. I felt cleaner and lighter the day after I got the sudatonic wrap. I've already scheduled another combo session in the upcoming week.

I had heard about this place on the radio many times, but then a friend told me how much she liked this place and I thought I'd try it out. On my first visit I had the body wrap and tried out the new sudatonic wrap. Both were great! I lost quite a few inches all over and some body fat. It is a good supplement if you already dieting and exercising!
