I invented this name as there's already a Squantum Point Park but I prefer this semi-secret one. I guess it's not really a park but the coastal area behind the American Legion building where the road to Moon Island becomes restricted for anyone who's not with the police academy or fire academy.

Secret Squantum Park has a GREAT view of the Boston skyline - especially at sunset. You can work your way along the small rocky beaches covered in zillions of periwinkles and find yourself looking over calm waters back to the shiny Kubrickesque monolith that is the John Hancock building. There's also good views of UMass, the JFK library and the mysterious Thompson Island.

Oh, and if you like skipping stones - THIS IS THE PLACE. I managed 12 skips with one stone. New PB!
