Spent a few nights here recently and, overall, had a good experience.  The location is excellent, right on the edge of West Hollywood, which makes it easy to get to most places.  They provided gated parking, too.  The room we had was a pretty good size.  The bed could use a new mattress, or maybe was just way too soft for my tastes.  The bathroom was big and I've never had such strong water pressure in the shower--there was no dirt left on me!
On the first day, we didn't really get a breakfast because the owner was away and a friend was taking care of things, but we had an excellent breakfast on the second day.  Everyone who worked there was very friendly and helpful.  They have a computer for guest use so you can read yelp reviews of where to eat and what to do.  The decor is a bit overwhelming, but has its own appeal, I suppose.
In comparison to other options in LA, the price is reasonable and feels like a pretty good deal.
