Alma created the perfect design for the sidewalk gardens at Sunset Elementary School. Very beautiful, native, easy to take care of and very fun to build with the kids! She has a unique and creative vision to design and plant the perfect garden for any need and desire while meeting ecological and sustainable demands. She is also a joy to know and work with! I would recommend her highly to anyone looking to design or "upgrade" a garden space.

Alma brings a dedication to eco-friendly, sustainable gardening and a thorough knowledge of California native plants to her projects that is really impressive. This, coupled with an excellent design aesthetic, with an emphasis on how the interior of a house interfaces with it's exterior, gives her a unique qualification as a landscape designer. I can't recommend her work highly enough.

We thank all the brave garden owners back in the last century who trusted our environmentally oriented vision when less or no lawn, native plants, and recycled materials were as rare as Blue Mission Butterflies. Meet the Business Owner: Alma H.
Alma, APLD, is Certified by the Association of Professional Landscapers and was District President of the San Francisco Chapter (www.apld.org), holds a Masters of Arts in Landscape Design from The Conway School of Landscape Design (www.csld.edu), is a Certified Arborist, member of the California Native Plant Society (www.cnps.org), and FUF (www.fuf.net).
