I love a restaurant bold enough not to hide behind a lot of seasoned oils, butter and/or salt. Despite being healthy (relatively), everything was amazingly delicious. Fresh ingredients and creative use of spice (not heat, just spices in general) made every dish delicious.

The environment is pretty entertaining as well, though it was a bit hard to hear on occasion.

The service was spot on and the price for the food was good. The menu, I believe, changes quite a bit (since it needs to adapt to what's available) so I recommend going back semi-often =)

Wow,  ok, seriously, I think I had a mouth-gasm after eating here last night!

Everything was so delicious, especially the Plank Atlantic Salmon dish,  my favorite was the lemon-merange pie served in a shot glass.

The service was better than words can describe.  The only downfall, however, was at the end of the night when it came time to walking away and out of the restaurant.

I highly recommend this place!

I took  one of my BFFs here for her birthday on the 4th of July.   We had a fantastic time. She is an Irish girl, a little bitter about sharing her special day with 250 million souls bent on celebrating the birth of the US of A. But after a bottle of Santa Cantabria Tempranillo and a few shots of Patron, I was able to convince her that the fireworks were really all about her. Okay.... so maybe they weren't, but the excellent staff at Season's 52 made sure the night was. Our server, Dean, I believe, although his name tag said BJ, was incredible. Charming, hysterical, and determined to make sure we had a good time.  He was serving one or two other tables and working a bit behind the bar, and he acted as if he were hosting a party in his home. He had us talking to and laughing with other patrons in no time.  But Dean was more than personality , he was also a very competent server. If you go ask for him.   The chef, Dane also visited our table several times, and was an absolute delight. We were both bummed to notice the wedding ring on his finger.  (The best ones our always taken).

Moving on to the food...... we started with the Garlic Chicken Flatbread, Broiled Crab and Shrimp Stuffed Mushrooms, and Goat Cheese Ravioli.   The mushrooms and the ravioli were good. The flatbread was out of this world delicious.  Chicken, onions, roasted red peppers and mozzarella.. perfect amount of Garlic.  I would have been happy to call it a meal after eating it. When my friend stepped out for a smoke, I ate the rest of her portion.  Couldn't help myself.

For entrees we went with Filet Mignon with garlic mash, and the Pork Tenderloin with roasted polenta gratin, spinach and cremini mushrooms. I loved my pork, but was not crazy about the polenta gratin. No flavor.  But at 475 calories or less, I really can't bitch too much about lack of flavor. Especially when everything else was so good.

We had 3 desserts. Well, I had two ( they are small, I swear) and my friend had one. I went with the Old Fashioned Carrot Cake and the Mocha Macchiato.  She had the Key Lime Pie.  I would not go with the Carrot Cake again, especially with the very yummy Mocha Macchiato available. And since there is no such thing as bad Key Lime Pie, it is always a favorite as well.

Almost forgot, on the weekends they have a piano player. He was a blast. He took requests and personalized the songs in the most hysterical of ways.

I will definetly go back the next time I am in Atl.

Never heard of this place until my date picked it.  Love the concept: low calorie and seasonal foods.  I wish more restaurants would jump on this train; at least use fresh ingredients.  The trout I had was great.  It was pan-seared with a great fresh flavor.  Love'd it as well as the roasted veggies that came with.  They give you lots of food for the amount of cal's the dish has in it. One thing I would say is that I love the fact that they are low cal but if you get a 475 cal entree then a 375 cal dessert you are getting close to you would be close to %50 of the calories you should consume per day.  The desserts did look good though.  One other problem: No Guinness on tap.

do you know whats the greatest hype around food these days? low calorie. and combine it with healthy and seasonal ingredients .. you got a star!

as soon as you sit down, the server is more than happy to tell you the restaurant's concept that is so obviously scripted coz its the same coming from every server... "everything is below 475 calories, plus the food is all fresh and seasonal! yay".. they need to get actors or change the training manual..

that aside, seasons 52 serves wonderful food so tasty i want to try everything on the menu.. the flat bread is the best so dont ever miss it and save room for the dessert which are served in shot glasses... and wonderful introduction by the server i can almost hear the manual flipping.. "..and this is my fav among the desserts, chocolate cake with strawberry syrup and mango pieces.. topped with vanilla whipped cream...blah blah bleh".. zzzzzz

that aside,. its still a restaurant highly recommended because of the high quality food they are serving.. make reservations to avoid disappointments.. this place is very popular

My friend and I were looking for a piano bar, and we found one at Seasons 52 in Buckhead! Ok, so it's not really a piano bar, but Wed.-Sat. they have a piano man, Michael Milsap (I think is his name), who is just phenomenal. Very fun time. Plus the food and service is just amazing. I had the special blackened Mahi-Mahi and it was outstanding. The flat bread can't be missed either. Plus the little desserts in shot glasses that are just the perfect ending, and they aren't overpriced! The wine list is extensive, and the servers know what they are talking about, so I suggest they recommend a wine for you. I will definitely be back when I have to go back to Atlanta. My favorite place!!!

I have pretty simple tastes, but I like variety, so I try these upscale-ish places.  Their signature app is a flat bread thing and it was really good.  The food was pretty good, but not really my kind of place.  The desserts looked good but we didn't feel like having a $200 bill.  I probably won't go there again unless I have to.

This place won me over the minute I read the wine list.  They serve wine from Mauritson Winery in Healdsburg, Ca...one of my favorites...nice touch!
Not to mention, they have a gluten free menu for poor tortured wheat challenged souls, like myself...another nice touch!
Generally, I prefer a more intimate restaurant when on a date, but despite the size of this restaurant, Seasons 52 managed to create a romantic atmosphere with it's warm, open, yet cozy atmosphere...or perhaps it was just the company and a couple of glasses of Zin?
The food was delicious...  I had the grilled trout with potatoes and asparagus, which was very fresh and flavorful.  I would definitely order it again.
My date had the Caramelized Scallops and they looked so good that I had to guilt him into sharing a bite with me, even though it was not an option on the gluten free menu. It was really good, possibly even good enough to suffer the consequences of straying from the "special menu"?
After we finished our entree's, the server brought out a pretty display of their "mini indulgences".  These are shot glasses filled with different dessert favorites, such as Red Velvet Cake, Key Lime Pie, and Tiramisu.  I have to admit that I had two..yes, way to impress the date, right?  I had the Fresh Fruit Mini and I forget the name of the other mini, but it reminded me of a peanut buster parfait from DQ....scrumpdillyitious!

Oh, wow - I think I may have found a new go-to restaurant.  I think I want to give them four and a half stars.  Why can't I give a half-star????  First off, Seasons 52 has a good size list of wines available by the glass.  Definitely check out the flatbread.  The plum tomato was great and they also had an eggplant parmesan that was yummy!  We tried the shrimp and crabmeat stuffed mushrooms which were pretty tasty, especially since all dishes are supposedly 470 calories or less.  I ordered the cedar plank salmon and DH ordered the steak.  The salmon was good, but nothing to write home about.  ...Or maybe that's because my tastebuds were SPOILED when I tasted my husband's steak.  WOW!  This steak was awesome.  I couldn't believe the entire dish was under 500 calories.  The garlic mashed potatoes were pretty freakin' good too.  I also loved the way they prepare their carrots; they were soft and sweet, almost resembling sweet potato by the time they arrived at the table.  We came with a group and almost everyone ordered a dessert.  After all, they're served up in a shot glass so dessert is hardly as guilty as ordering an entire piece of pie or cake.  My chocolate peanut butter mousse and my DH's key lime pie were just the right amount of sweet to top off the perfect meal.  Two thumbs way up.  We can't wait to come back for more!

First, start with the flat breads (the Tomato is amazing).  The salads are impeccably prepared and full of fresh flavors and contrasting textures,

Next, work your way through the extensive wine list and find yourself an amazing entree for less than 475 calories (that's not a typo).  After you think you cannot consume another glorious bite, bring on the shot-glass-sized desserts (skip the tiramisu, but the chocolate peanut butter mousse and the key lime pie are scrumptious).  Just the right small bite of sweet to top off an excellent meal that you don't have to feel guilty about.  But mark your calendars, the entree menu changes frequently in order to focus on the freshest, local ingredients - 52 Seasons, indeed!

Oh man, the mere fact that every dish was under what... 500 caloris? 600 calories? That's reason enough to go there and really enjoy the flavor explosions and appreciate that the restaurant understands your plight.

Being between a rock and a hard place is being at a lovely restaurant that serves butter or cream sauce on everything remotely tasty.

Seasons 52 is fresh and worth trying. Make a ressie on open table!

oh my gosh...to start with it brings me great pain to eat at a national chain of any variety and had it just been me and my fiance we would have skipped out.  The food may be low cal/low carb/low fat...but if you feed people half servings - they may be skinny, but they are also cranky!!  I was so hungry when we left that I told my friends to keep fingers and arms away from me as I might take a bite.  Hey - only the strong survive in substandard conditions.  In order to protect friends, we had to swing through Burger King (gag-we were desperate) for a snack.

The food was ok - not great. We ended up spending $45 for two people on a unfulfilling lunch (price not including BK).

Seasons 52.  That's not a name you hear everyday.  It's actually named after the four seasons, and 52 weeks of the year.  The restaurant aims to serve seasonal flavors all year around.  Of course, the menu changes every season, for seasonal goods change every season.

Lately, I've seen the rise of healthy eating by numerous restaurants in Atlanta.  Although it's really nice to see such movement, I rarely encounter a dish that satisfies my palate.  I've dined here few times, but each time, I'm not impressed nor disappointed.  My favorite is the mini-dessert.  I think I've tried every single flavor and you just can't go wrong with these.

Particularly, I'm very fond of their marvelous service.  I'm mildly allergic to lactose and my waitress had no trouble checking the ingredients of my dish.  They are very helpful with the menu and always provide great service with smiles on their faces.

Lunch or dinner - this is a great place. Business lunch. Lunch with friends. Dinner date. Choose Seasons 52.

Spinach salad with pears and blue cheese. The flat breads are reason enough to go - they are all exceptional, but the tomato is my personal favorite. (When they first opened, I will admit I visited once a week until I had tried each flat bread.) The entrees are tasty. Their desserts -- they call them "minis" because of their size - are not only good, but visually appealing.

And the beauty is, they are generally healthy dishes prepared with lower calories than you might see elsewhere. So, you don't have to feel guilty.

My coworkers voted on a place to have a pre holiday and birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago. I found myself, a strong seafood lover, trying to sway the vote to the new restaurant, Aquanox, but I lost that battle. However, my disappointment was short lived.

We had reservations for 6:30PM on a Wednesday evening so there was a light crowd, but once are party arrived we were seated promptly. Restaurants in Atlanta seem to all follow the latest "hot" trend and right now it seems to be flat-bread. We ordered two different kinds - one had chicken and was served in the traditional way while the second batch was in an upright dish and was a little more like chips than flat bread. The server had explained the difference before  we ordered. Both were tasty.

I like how the meals are served with health in mind. It made it easier to select something from the menu. Substitutions were also easier than in most restaurants. When I told them I didn't want the pasta with my shrimp dish, that was no problem. I ordered asparagus instead.

If you order wine, I suggest the house red. At the moment I can't remember the name, but it was a light red. Not dry at all for those of you who have been scarred by a rough glass of Merlot. I want to say it was a blend of Shiraz and something else.

The best part of the meal for most of us was the dessert. The little miniature serving sizes are just right (even when you order two of them!) I had the tiramisu and the chocolate mouse like dessert.

The only thing I didn't particularly like was the decor. I kind of felt like I was in a hotel lobby or a restaurant in a hotel lobby. Maybe that's what they were going for, or that clubhouse feel.

Seasons 52 is the type of restaurant I can take my mom too and she won't have to worry about carbs and calories (which she keeps a count on due to her diabetes). I like that. Seasons 52 has my vote!

Updated (I was rushing before, but this is how I really feel)

I love, love, love this restaurant. The concept here is that no sing item has more than 675 (i think) calories. For those who've already crinkled your nose... hold up. The food is actually really good. They have these flatbreads that make you want to slap somebody. I like the Shrimp Chipotle ones the best. Ooh, and there are the mushrooms with the shrimp/cheese stuffing...OMG. I know, doesn't sound like low cal and doesn't taste like low cal. but so so good.

On the entree side, they really show out. The whole 52 part is to represent the 52 weeks of the year. So their gimmick is that  in order to ensure the freshest food, they will only prepare what's IN SEASON. so there's actually four menus that change throughout the year.

If you still aren't moved by the healthy/fresh thing, then let's move to the liquor. Season's 52 has one of the best wine/spirits lists around. How do you know? They actually carry several labels from South Africa....FANTASTIC. If you're not that adventurous (which really, come on now) then definitely try the Pomegranate Margarita MARTINI. Fantastic.

Excellent service which we all know is crazy rare in Atlanta. The food is great and the ambience is fantastic as well. leave room for the fabulous desserts...only 1.99 a cordial, they're called mini indulgences, you'll see why...but oh so good.

I worked for Darden Restaurants in Orlando FL, where their home office is, so I went to the first test restaurant of Seasons 52. It was always good, but its important to remember that "fresh seasonal" is a concept that the corporate people who also created Red Lobster, Olive Garden and Bahama Breeze came up with. I think they do a better job of preparing their food at Seasons 52, but a lot of the ingredients are the same bulk order shipped to their other concepts.

Missing the legendary (may her ivories rest in peace) dueling piano bar Jellyrolls? Seasons 52 can take care of that. Well, sort of. They have a piano man, minus the duel, on a freaking rotating platform inside the bar. Literally inside the bar (picture piano and guy - or woman - corralled behind the bar with bartenders and vodka tonics swarming around them).  Comfortable booths also line the perimeter of the bar area, serve the complete menu and are first come first serve.

Piano man gladly took our request, and three girls in their mid twenties rocked out to Bennie and the Jets.

Just like Sarah B. and Rebecca O. mention, there's a 475 calories a plate theme here, with a rotating seasonal menu. And the desserts are low calorie because of their wee stature, slightly larger than a double shot glass. Your waiter comes out with a beautiful array of nine 'mini indulgences' to choose from at just $1.95 a pop. And of course, in the spirit of marketing, you'll also be offered option to buy the entire display of nine desserts. Which no longer counts as mini.

I was really impressed with the meal I had at Season's 52. The vegetables tasted vine ripe and the entrees were flavorful but not drenched in oil and butter. I almost prefer to eat at home these days because I very often leave a restaurant feeling sick and overwhelmed from too rich of a meal. Season's 52 gives you the feel of eating a homemade meal but with some of the little extravagances that you might not be able to cook up in your average kitchen.

My friend and I split the tomato flatbread with roasted garlic, sweet basil and melted parmesan cheese. They make the flatbread to order and it's a specialty on the menu -- it was a nice start to our meal. For an entree I ordered the shrimp fusilloni pomodoro with summer vegetables and roasted garlic in a fresh plum tomato basil sauce. The summer vegetables included perfectly cooked squash and warm diced tomatoes. I couldn't get enough of the dish.

Their signature item has to be the miniature desserts served in tall shot glasses. They bring out one of each dessert and show them off with a tiny spotlight (flashlight!). We split the pecan pie with vanilla bean mousse and the rocky road. It was the perfect size for a rich dessert.

They note that everything on the menu is less than 475 calories. That leaves me wondering though what the calorie count is if you have an appetizer, entree, dessert....and glass of wine! Regardless, we left full and happy and feeling great.

I've been trying to eat a more healthy diet; so my wife surprised me with a visit to Seasons 52.  She eats there regularly for business lunches and is a big fan.

The menu changes weekly and there is a good bit of variety.  I went with a turkey kabob type of deal that was cooked and seasoned well.  With edamame for an appetizer and turkey for the entree, I did feel like I was doing my body good.  Of course then they brought the dessert shots by and I couldn't pass up a chance for a mini-Red Velvet cake.  It was really pretty good and seemed small enough that I didn't kick myself too hard.

The interior is nice and pleasant - definitely comfortably upscale.  The staff were all excellent and there are a lot of smiles (genuine ones even!) to go around.

The claim:  "Every item on our seasonally inspired menu contains less than 475 calories."  And while this may be true, I see right through the clever guise (at least I've convinced myself).  Don't get me wrong ... I frequent this establishment about once a week (much to my wallet's dismay).  Here are my theories:  1.  the items are 'healthful' because they use seasonings (including salt) to significantly up the taste; 2.  don't be fooled by the double shots of desserts (they literally come in tall shot glass-looking glasses with iced tea-style spoons to ensure you're able to consume every calorie in the bottom of the glass) -- because the desserts look so small, you're tempted to order more than one; 3.  by the end of the meal, you're guaranteed to have consumed more than 475 calories because the menu selections are too tempting to pass up.

I prefer to sit in the bar instead of waiting an hour for a table in the main dining room.  The bar is full of good atmosphere - dark lighting, piano player singing some favorite tunes and a staff that's as friendly as can be.

My votes:  edamame served with Japanese green tea salt; lime-grilled salmon with corn/black bean/asparagus salsa; pecan pie with vanilla bean mousse.

Does passing off mediocre food in a semi quasi nice dark setting do something to your brain that makes you think the food is better than it actually is? I looked around and the answer is yes. What do you expect from an upscale Applebeez? My company holiday dinner took place here...I guess it's better than last year at Brio...maybe not. Flat bread was weak, beef carpaccio was mushy and stringy, edamame with green tea salt were well...frozen edamame you get from the market. Even the soup du jour tasted like soup du last week. Looked thru the menu and nothing was a stand out, so I got the standard issue 6oz. filet with your standard sides of mash and roasted garden vegs. The asparagus was the thickness of a McDeez frie, the whole carrots has been sitting in a hotel pan over a oven all night and dried to a crisp. Who woulda guess that a filet would taste much better with glazed butter under a salamander?!  And the desserts, boasting low calories, it sure tasted like it.  With "Seasons" in the name of the resto, I kinda expect the food to be, well....seasoned. It'll be another 52 weeks before I give it another shot. Thank baby Jesus for grey goose.

This place is popular b/c it's new-ish and serves fresh, "healthy-ish" fare in an area where good-for-you options are scarce.

The food is a tad salty but good.  The menu changes seasonally.  The various flat breads and deserts are consistently killer.  Would I eat there on my own?  Probably not.

What I don't "get" is why/how they operate under the guise of being healthy?  Just like any other restaurant, an appetizer + an entree + a "mini indulgence" = far from healthy.  Entrees are just under 500 calories.  The mini indulgences, minus the fresh fruit one, are nearly 300 calories (despite arriving in a double shot glass).  Add that up and you have 1,000+ calories AT ONE SITTING.  Add a glass of wine or three and prepare be fork lifted out the front window as Richard Simmons cheers.

Me thinks those calories would be put to better use at places like Johnny Rocket's, MD's or Baskin-Robbins :)

I love how the menu changes with the four seasons.  pretty neat.
Was the meeting place for a recent girls night out, great spot for this as well as lunch with a co-worker.  At night the restaurant just feels very warm and inviting.  The staff is attentive but not annoying..a very fine line not to cross!!  The wine selection is very good, which is important to me bc i like to drink, a little bit.  You have to try at least one of the flat breads, which are perfect for sharing!  The grilled veggie sandwhich is scrumptious and so is the spicy chicken relleno!

If you haven't been..GO!
