I've been to Seasons Spa about 4 times now, two times for a regular manipedi, and two times for a Gelish Manicure.
ALL four times, I've been completely amazed by the experience. The staff is extremely friendly, and very welcoming. My Nail Tech, Raymond does a AWESOME job.
He is meticulous and very careful to make sure my cuticles and nails are perfection before continuing. it is because of this, that my gelish polish doesnt lift off.
I would, and do highly recommend this local spot for their services.
I havent tried their facial/skin stuff, but I fully intend to!! -

My face was glowing after the mini facial; my skin was clean and very smooth. I highly recommend you to come book an appointment at Season Spa as their facials are cheap, and results do show afterwards. The aesthetician was very nice, and didn't bother me to purchase their skin products (like most asian spas do often and it can be quite annoying!). However, she did ask me if I wanted to purchase the mini facial package which would save me more money in the long run. However, I declined the offer and she was cordial about it.
Although I declined the mini facial package, I will still go get mini facials here whenever I want to pamper myself. -

New York, NY
Decided to try this place out after reading Time Out NY's article on cheap facials in the city. It definitely lived up to my expectations.
Got the $55 facial (can't remember the name), but it included several cleansers, a light chemical peel, face/neck/shoulder massage, VERY thorough extractions, eyebrow plucking, and a 25-minute mask. I came out looking a little splotchy from the extractions (my first facial in years), but the next day my skin was smooth and completely clear.
Kelly was great. Took a lot of time and was very detailed. The facilities are not the cleanest or most serene (thin walls and the mood music only came on halfway through my session), but this is what you get for the price. I will still be back. -

I felt fancy today so I decided to get a facial to revive my weather beaten skin. At the suggestion of YELP, I tried this place out. I must say for what I was willing to pay, I got the most for my money.
The area around the spa is not really clean, but then again after SNOWpocalypse 2010.... what area truly is?!
Once I entered it was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. One of the reviewers above stated that you could walk in and not worry about an appointment... but I didn't want to take the chance of the aesthetician not being in so I made an appointment.
Now here is the best part.... for $55- 1 hour (not including tax and gratuity) You get a facial and your eyebrows done!!!! :)
This is the best deal in town... I will be back! -

This is my go to place for a microdermabrasion facial. You can not get a better deal on this service anywhere else. The normal cost of a microdermabrasion facial is $80 but I usually go when they are having a $50 special promotion.
The microdermabrasion facial includes not only the microdermabrasion wand passes but also: extractions, a neck and shoulder massage, an eyebrow shaping (they'll wax or tweeze depending on how much of a shape-up you need), and a calming mask. The entire experience lasts for about an hour or a little longer. I've gone here many times during the past 3 years and I never feel like my treatments are ever rushed. The aestheticians here really take their time with their extremely thorough extractions and always ask me if I am ok during the process; they do a really great job on removing blackheads and whiteheads. After a microdermabrasion treatment anywhere else my skin usually gets a bit flushed and red. But because of the calming mask that they use I leave the place with evenly toned and soft skin.
This is a great no frills spa for an amazing facial treatment. I never feel any sales pressure here. I recently bought a package of 5 microdermabrasion treatments at a discount on my own accord because the results are amazing and I know that I'll be coming back often the hot summer months when my face takes a beating. -

They are very clean, they do a good job and the prices are great! It is truely a lovely atmosphere.
Ahaha, I loved the entrance when you see the big billboard sign 'Season spa!" then you step down into it like anyother two level shops in manhattan and you go in and relax. -

Prices here are very reasonable.
Waxing was terrific - very careful and not painful at all.
Massage was fair. The lady massaging me improved a lot when I specifically told her what strokes I liked but still could have been better. Ambience for massage was same as the waxing cubicle so I felt a bit strange - but it was fine for the price. -

Prices are lower here than at other spas. As the saying goes you get what you pay for...Went here for Spring 2011 spa week. I paid for all three services, 70 Min Anti-Stress Back Massage and Mini Facial, 65 Min Microdermabration Treatment plus Deep Pore Cleansing Facial, & 70 Min Anti Cellulite Detox Slimming Treatment. Sounds like a great spa package for $150, wrong I started at about 3:20 and ended at around 5:30. By my calculations I had 75 minutes more of services to get.
When I first started the one fluent English worker asked me if I wanted all treatments then explained to me that I would get a 30 minute massage and then the microdermabration facial. Both of those treatments combined lasted for less than an hour. I felt as though the woman providing the services, Kelly, rushed through both processes. The massage wasn't bad but it wasn't good either and the facial which included extractions was super quick. I understand that I only paid $100 for both services but as a paying customer I should at least get what I paid for. The anti cellulite treatment required my thighs being aggressively massaged by a machine then my thighs were wrapped in saran wrap and I was placed in this heated plastic quilt. Don't know the exact time I was cooking but that treatment lasted the longest and I was covered in sweat when I was done. Even though there was a shower stall in the room I was never offered the option.
I got dressed and when it was time to pay the fluent English speaker explained to me that Kelly would like me to purchase ten cellulite treatments in order for me to see any changes or to at least buy ten treatments at $50 each to use on any of the services I received or to use them as a gift. I turned down the offer I didn't feel like paying money and not getting the timed services I was promised. The prices are great, the location is small and cramped even though they use the space well there is much to be desired.
PS: They had complimentary fruit snacks and candy but I would have preferred my paid for 75 minutes of services. -

read about this place in Time Out NY's "cheap facials" article.
had a monstrosity of a blemish, and needed to see someone ASAP for a cheap price.
aesthetician was nice. basic facial (don't expect the Mandarin Oriental spa) but most bang for your buck. she was a bit rough w/my face, but she got all the gunk out.
$35 for 45 minutes. recommended if you need a quick fix for cheap! -

I just returned from my 3rd massage here. I get the 30 minute stress-relieving back massage for $35. It is spectacular. I sit at a computer for 9+ hours a day and have the tightest back and neck muscles because of this. I feel brand new after a half hour. It is my favorite lunchtime pastime. They really know their stuff.

Review from Vicki S.
CANAL STREET, NY
With the weather the way it's been, I desperately needed a facial, so with the help of fellow Yelpers, I chose to take advantage of a couple of specials they had on their window to see how it was for me.
The two specials were: $50 for a one hour massage of any kind and $50 for a microdermabrasion facial.
First, the massage. I get monthly massages from a guy who specializes in yoga instructors and other athletes, so I am used to REALLY, REALLY firm (aka painful, but oh so good) massages. But at $50 for deep tissue at Season Spa, I thought it would be a nice add-on to my facial. The massage was good. Not as firm or as targeted as I am used to, but it did the job, as I was really tight and for purposes of that particular afternoon, it was perfect, as I really needed to relax a bit. I will say, though, that this massage was far better than the one I had at Bliss Spa a couple years ago.
Next came the microdermabrasion facial. I have never had one, so to spend only $50 was a good way to introduce me to one. I LOVED it. My skin was so smooth afterward. Kelly, my therapist that afternoon, did a number on my pimples, but it's been a few days since the facial and my skin looks great and still really smooth.
With this positive experience, I went ahead and purchased a 10-pack to Season Spa for $500. Get this -- I can now get a miocrodermabrasian facial and/or deep tissue massage for only $50 for my next 8 visits (normally, the facial is $80 and the massage is $68), so that's a huge savings. AND, there is no expiration to the 10-pack! AND get this -- the treatments are transferable, so I can call in appointments for my friends. Great deal all around.
As weekends are super busy in all salons and spas in Chinatown, I recommend reservations for weekend appointments. They do accept credit cards as well, another plus.
