I love Seahurst Park!  The park is a thin strip of roughly 2000 feet of waterfront on beautiful Puget Sound and offers a true Northwest beach experience.  We're not talking sand - we are talking barnacle covered rocks, seaweed of all different types, clams, sand-dollars, starfish, octopi, sea cucumbers, and so much more!

The park offers an AMAZING free naturalist program.  If you call ahead you  can request a trained naturalist to come along for a beach walk with your group and help you understand what you are seeing.  This was a HUGE hit with my Day Camp kids.

The park also has bathrooms and a fantastic big toy.  You can choose to walk on the beach or on a path on top of a bulkhead.

I'm told that there is a decaying wooden boat somewhere on the beach hidden below the water which is a treat for scuba/snorkelers alike.

Parking can be challenging during the summer - but the park is worth it!
