Review from Kyle F.
Had quite the night out at the Sea Star during 4th of July weekend. Came here with my cousins and grabbed some drinks. It was quite busier than I expected, about 40 people were inside. No need to go to Canada or Mexico if you are under 21, they won't card you here.
Saw a sight I will probably never see again in a bar: a man with a snake on his head singing karaoke. Don't worry, I have included the pictures with the review. So my cousins and I all got pictures with said snake knowing this might be our last chance for this opportunity to arise this lifetime.
Drinks were strong and everyone there was having a good time. 3.5 Stars -

Though the name contains "grill", this is really just a bar, or so it seems to me.
While there were several customers, none of them were eating. We picked a table and sat...and waited...and waited a bit longer to be acknowledged. Just as we decided to go somewhere else and got up, a lady brought us menus. But it was too late by then.
If you want to enjoy a pitcher of beer over a game of pool, Sea Star is probably okay, but it's not a place to come to for dinner. -

Local bar go in have a beer. Nice bartender, pool tables. Bring your skateboards for the skate park is next door.

Four stars for value and friendly service. This is a nice family-owned place. It's a small town and I think the menu is more Tex-Mex than anything authentically mexican, but the food is very very affordable and the portions are generous. A good stop if you're driving through on the way to the beach.

I was passing thru town and stayed ina motel next door to this joint. It was a great spot and very reasonable. We drank all nite (2 of us) ate some snacks and the bill came to around $45. Mary, the bartender, was a sweetheart. I left a sweatshirt there and they were nice enuff to send it to me! This place gets a 10 for service, price, and atmosphere.

Just ate here while staying in Gold Beach for the night. Its a mexican place attached to a bar. Really quiet on a Thurs night, even though it was full--needed a bit more music I think. Pretty good mexican food, good price, good salsa. Definitely a good spot, glad we chose it over the questionable looking seafood places around.
