This cute Little inn is located towards the end of moonstone dr. We had a double queen room for four people. Plenty of room. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The room even had a small garden patio (although it was too cold to enjoy it while we were there). The inn is right across the street from the beautiful moonstone beach. The continental breakfast was great (cereal, coffee, breads, eggs....the standard). People at the front desk were nice and helpful.
The inn is within walking distance to two restaurants a oyster bar and a seafood place....both looked nice.
Great place to stay for a good price. Oh and the pool is heated!
Nice clean room with 2 queen beds. Location was excellent, right across from the beach. Continental breakfast was adequate - cereals, muffins, yogurt, bagels. Coffee was pretty good for a motel service. Too hot for using the gas fireplace but might be nice on a cold night. I thought a bit pricey at $210.00 a night, but I guess we were paying for the location.
Stayed here with family for thanksgiving weekend. Fireplaces in the rooms are a nice touch. Beds were soft, which is fine with me but others in our group preferred firmer. Continental breakfast was "enough to keep body and soul together". Unfortunately, the hot tub heater was having problems, but the pool was still warm enough to swim in. Microwave and fridge in the room might have been handy if we were staying longer.
Moonstone Beach (steps away) is very pretty, good place to walk, more so at low tide (which the hotel had listed on paper taped to the desk!) Short drive to Hearst Castle, Paso Robles wineries.
This is a quaint little place, that's situated on Moonstone Dr, directly across the street from the ocean. We found our room to be nice, and kind of "homey", decorated in a slightly "grandma-ish" manner. Our room had a king-sized bed, a fireplace, 35" TV and a VCR, microwave, and a fenced in, private patio. The room also touted free wireless internet connectivity, but unfortunately it doesn't work in the rooms, as advertised. You can get it in the office area.
As previously mentioned, there's a "continental" breakfast that includes orange juice, yogurt, danishes/bagels/croissants, hard boiled eggs, individual boxes of cold cereal, coffee and teas. However, there is no where to sit and eat, which makes the room's patio the perfect place.

Went to this place after reading TripAdvisor and I was satisfied with the stay.
The fireplace was warm and nice,
but could be noisy to some people at night.
Fridge and Microwave was nice,
and the "continental" breakfast as others say is just enough.
Actually, we were advised to eat in our room, so we brought the food in the tray to our room.
I was disappointed for not having a DVD player in the room. They still have a VCR!!!
But the best thing from this place should be its location.
Although Moondrive street is full of inns/motels facing the ocean,
and I only stayed in this Inn among all of them,
but it was very nice to wake up in the morning and to have a great view of the ocean and it's nice to walk along the trails.
But have to drive to eat in Cambria almost all the time...
That part was pain for a lazy like me.
This is the BEST little hotel I have ever been to! The rooms are so sweet and you can take a deep breath after walking in- it's very comfortable! You can also go to the front office and check out movies to watch in your room! The pool is nicely kept as well as all the grounds!
Friendly and helpful staff!

Got there about 5PM in the afternoon. Went to the desk and asked if they had a room. Yep, got a room with two doubles and a fireplace for $169. Not bad. Very nice location. The breakfast in the morning is a walk into the foyer and pick up a continental breakfast to take back to your room. This works well and is a good option. Clean, in good condition and would stay again.
