2 words: Blueberry Wheat!!! SO good!

Came here for dinner when I was in Brunswick and to watch the Red Sox game. Pretty good food actually - the vegetarian chili I had was awesome!! They also seem to have a large and involved brunch, which sounds like a great hangover cure. Probably pretty good seafood too. The bf had a fried rock shrimp dish which was HUGE and pretty good also!

Have been to the Seadog twice (given the distance from my place of residence, this is fairly respectable).  They do a bang-up job on the blueberry beer, as already mentioned, but their seafood really shines through for those that were actually planning on eating.  Order the mussels as an appetizer and you won't need an entree.  The lobster roll is good, but a tad bit overpriced.  But the breadth of the seafood selections is sure to be able to please your whole party, with or without the beer.

Set in an old mill building, the Seadog also has charm.  Come for a special night out, or go to watch "the game," hang out with friends, or take the family out.  The Seadog can accommodate all.  And play a game of Ms. Pac Man for me on your way out.

This weekend we stoped here for a few drinks. They said we would have to wait for a deck table so we had a beer at the bar. The bartender was friendly and told us about all their beers. We were given a bowl of snacks too. Now we ate lunch a few hours before this. We got a table and told her we may want food but for now we will just have beers and we will let you know. We sat for 45 mins outside and each time she came out to serve other tables she not once came back to see how we were and if we wanted more beer or something light to eat, etc. I wouldn't go back again, just based on her rudness.

Sea Dog is a Topsham/Brunswick must-see. The outdoor porch over the river is unbeatable in summer, and one of the only places to eat outside in either town. Really great old black and white photos of the mill on the walls. Their burgers are decent, and the beer is wonderful. Do be warned, though, the blueberry ale is SUPER blueberry flavored, and can be smelled across the table. It's delicious, but it'll knock your socks off. IPA and Summer Ale are also must-trys.

I am visiting from the left coast, so my palette may be a bit off.

To me, their beer is great but the seafood is pretty basic pub fare.

Love the ambiance though - friendly atmosphere!

all i can say is blueberry ale.  mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  decent food, but that part is all a little hazy.  to give you an idea of how good the beer is, there's a group on http://facebook.com called "unable to drink socially at seadogs"

drink up

Yay for their blueberry ale! Seadog's is as close as you can get to a Chili's in little Brunswick. Great view, solid food, but far from gourmet.

enjoyed the lobster roll here.  had their brown ale, which i though was just so-so.  tried some of the fish and chips but did not care for it as the batter was not good.
