I booked a private cooking class with Stephanie for just me and my husband for his birthday.  Stephanie customized the menu based on our preferences (all her own recipes, too).  She taught us some valuable cooking and prep tricks and now we have a fancy and delicious meal we know how to cook.

Stephanie is a great cook and teacher.  She was relaxed and friendly and we had a fantastic time cooking under her. If you ever want to take a cooking class in Brooklyn, this is your place!

AMAZING! Signed up for a class with Stephanie for my fiance's birthday and we were blown away! Typically I'm not a pork person (grew up on a hog farm, so I've had my fill), but the pork we made that night was delicious and is a recipe we will be making again! Typically, I also am not fond of radishes, but she turned me again with the pre-dinner snack of radishes and salts. And beets! I typically won't come close to beets! She roasted the beets and had us put them on a fennel and goat cheese salad with a pistachio dressing (that we also made)...OMG! The salad was the perfect mixture of sweet, salty, soft, crunchy... it was everything you expect from a salad. She was helpful, not overbearing, clean, organized, sweet, and not once did it ever feel like there were too many cooks in the kitchen. She gave several helpful tips about chopping up onions, separating an egg from the yolk,  local knife sharpeners, and more! I'm thinking this gift might be a reoccurring one for my fiance and I don't think he's going to mind!

Whoever said Pacifica lacks places for "foodies" to meet at has not yet met Stephanie Beack from Scrumptious Street.   Last night I had one of my very best meals not only in Pacifica, but in the Bay Area...and I made it myself...okay with a little help from my friends and a lot of help from Stephanie.

What a great way to spend an evening.  Stephanie rented out a wonderful space in Pacifica that includes an elegant commercial kitchen with a lovely dining room right, you truly feel like you are in someone's home...  When we arrived at 5:00, Stephanie had a scrumptious antipasto plate waiting for us to nibble on.

After a little nibble and a glass of wine (we brought in our own wine and beer), the real fun begins.  Stephanie introduces us to the menu and goes over what we will be making.  She split us up into four teams and each team was responsible for a portion of prepping, cooking and serving the meal.

Last night we made Cannelloni Crostinis, Bucatini all' Amatriciana (pasta),zucchini, peas, and artichokes,  Chicken Breast Sienna Style, and Baby Arugula and Fennel salad.   All the food was healthy and dare I say scrumptious.

I can't remember a time that I had so much fun in the kitchen...this is not just a "girl" thing to do, last night we had 6 guys and 6 gals heating things up in the kitchen.  What a great way to spend time with friends.  We had so much fun we are doing a repeat...and we never do repeats!

Stephanie was such a great teacher and a good sport.

I highly recommend Stephanie and Scrumptious Street for parties such as this or for catering (Stephanie catered our Christmas Party)

I was at the party with Gina C.  It was so much fun!  We had a fantastic time!  Stephanie was great and a really good sport (if you knew our group, you'd know she had to be to deal with us, lol).  She gave us great tips on prepping, showed us how to properly use a knife and told us about all the ingredients in the meal (when certain vegetable are in season, how to pound a chicken breast to make it tender, the easiest way to get the leaves off of parsley, etc.).

The class was educational and fun and of course the food was delicious!  I highly recommend this fun activity for group.

I had my first private cooking class with Stephanie and it was fantastic!  First of all, she had certain ingrediants like the cheeses out as hors d'ouvres so we could sample the flavors raw and then see how they changed once they were incorporated into the recipe.  She taught me a few tricks such as one for helping me with chopping an onion (thank you!) that I really appreciated.

Stephanie is very open to questions so it is not intimidating at all.  Regardless of your skill level, a class with Stephanie will help you tremendously and you'll have a great time!

We had a great time and I look forward to my next class.

Friends organized an amazing dinner here for my Bachelorette party! Our group of eleven learned the basics and more throughout our Asian fusion experience.  Stephanie really knows what she is doing and throws in cooking tips with humor.  One group cooked up the pork in lettuce cups while my group made Indonesian corn fritters, and the dessert group wowed us with mango with sticky rice.  The atmosphere is wonderful- a beautiful table for twelve for us to spend a long dinner eating incredible food, drinking wine, and laughing.  The kitchen itself is very modern and equipped with everything you need.    This was a perfect start to an unforgettable night.  Thank you, Stephanie!

Okay folks, this is the perfect gift. She will customize a menu and class for whatever you, your friends, co-workers, sewing circle desires.

Complete with menu, nutrition, preparation, cooking, serving, tasting, wine pairing and much more. She even has special tech classes on knife technique.

A really great deal when you add it all up, plus an experience, plus a meal, plus a new skill. Stephanie is an excellent instructor, she's traveled the world as a trainer for nearly a decade. She can work with any request. The class in a professional kitchen. You get to create your very own Chef's table.

Call it school or lessons, but really more of a cooking experience.
