You rarely see such fabulous little stores in Fremont but this one is simply divine. They are located in a small strip mall nestled near neighborhoods so it's a bit easy to miss but definitely worth a trip.
This store had a diverse selection of products and the sale person was helpful with my questions. They didn't have some of the specialty stickers I was hoping for but I can't be too picky because I don't think it's possible for any one store to have everything your imagination desires.
I was looking for a specific color of paper and they had something that was close to it but they only had a few sheets. The sales person was kind enough to let me purchase an extra package just for me. It arrived in a couple days and I had what I needed to finish my project.
I'll definitely come here again.
This is actually my favorite scrapbooking store in Fremont. It's got some cute stuff all around the perimeter of the store. The papers are very cool, too, and they're all on racks throughout the center of the store. I haven't taken any classes here, yet, or gone to any of the scraps, but I'm going to try to make time once my schedule opens up cause it looks fun! I love seeing the examples of the projects, too. Very inspiring! Prices are competitive, not too expensive. Definitely come by and see what they have. It's owner operated. A small local business, not like Michael's, so I recommend it to people just to support the small business owners.

By the way, they also sell crafting supplies besides papers and stamps. There are all kinds of embellishments, fine glitters, walnut dyes, glazes, ribbons, etc, for making altered books or other projects. And the staff is always friendly!

I took a class last year, around September, I think? It was a fun class, but the pace was really fast. I felt like I didn't really have time to absorb what I was learning. There are different teachers/instructors, though, so it could've just been the one I went to. It was FUN, but I wish that it had gone a bit slower.
I love this place! And I love it even more because they carry a whole wall-full of Bazzill paper in lots and lots of different colors to choose from! SCORE! I usually go to Memories in San Jose, but in times that I cannot get there, then this quaint little shop satisfies my need to complete my project- whether it be for scrapbooking or card-making, Scrapbook U carries that special something that I need.
The place is super small, but packed with all kinds of goodies. I wish they had a larger selection of different kinds of eyelets and brads as they do at Making Memories, but what they have is sufficient enough. They even a small room dedicated for your stamping needs. I am on their email list and I get an update on their sales, new items, and classes. They even give you some creative ideas.
I never leave here empty-handed for I always find something darling and useful. I have not found another scrapbook store in Fremont that can quite compete with this one.
I haven't been to Scrapbook U for a while (hence, only 4 stars)... but I still have a special place in my heart for this little store. Monica, the owner, is AWESOME -- no matter how much time has passed, she still remembers me and greets me with the same great smile and conversation...
Love the selection of beautiful albums and patterned paper - Monica always makes sure the customers like me are heard. :)

I love this little gem! It's definitely a great asset to the scrapbooking crowd in Fremont with a huge selection of papers, stickers, etc. for such a small space. I love the staff, who are all very friendly. It's a very welcoming atmosphere with a lot of customer loyalty. The classes are awesome as well and make for a great bonding activity with friends and/or family. I drop in whenever I'm back in town. ♥
This is a great little place in Ohlone Village. I'm no scrapbooker but if I were I think this would be what heaven looks like! Super cute scrapbook paper, embellishments, ribbon... everything you might need to take on a crafty project. Plus the people at the counter were amazingly helpful.
great selection of products and very organized! they even had MLB stickers, which are hard to find. they had some really great stickers, some that even Michael's don't carry. the best part--they email you coupons once a week. they had a great travel section, so you can find stickers of different vacation places ranging from Disneyland to Vegas to Africa to Japan.
This place is so cute. They have great themed stuff. I love their disney section. The staff is very helpful. If I see a supply in a magazine, like paper or a trimmer, I go here. I love all the stamps and cardstock selection
A little scrapbook store that's BIG on service, Scrapbook U is one of my favorite stores. I always leave the place with a smile because the store owner or clerk is so friendly! The store offers a lot of variety as far as paper and the latest scrapping supplies. My most favorite part are the displays of the classes--the teachers are very talented! A lot of the classes I've taken years ago reflect the trends of scrapbooking today--altered books, flowers, painting, etc. Prices are pretty competetive...you should check it out!
I've been to numerous scrapbook stores and this is my favorite private ownership one. The owner, Monica is fantastic. She keeps her store well-stocked and considering she doesn't have the floor space of say, Michael's or Jo Ann's, she does a superb job! She's always getting in new goodies and is super helpful. Every time I go into her store I spend over an hour walking around, looking, ogling, getting ideas and of course filling up my shopping basket! I was there the other day and she was trying to find room for more inventory! Love that! She has anything you need to stamp and scrapbook.
