After passing by this place forever, we finally decided to give it a try.
The outside looks like it is a big cube of sugar. The inside is done in an old western theme with a lot of old wood and texture. Very nice.
My suspicions that this was an older crowd place were pretty much right on.
Nevertheless, the food here was excellent and the servers were attentive, outgoing and professional.
In our group we had prime rib which was as good as it gets, a chicken and a fish dish. Everyone loved their entree and loved the reasonable priced deserts just as much. The salad bar was good and one of us got seconds.
S&S is a well established mid to higher end restaurant and a great place to go when you want everything to go right.
I have been coming to restaurant since it opened in 1968. The steaks and seafood has always been outstanding and I can enthusiastically say that I have never thad a bad meal here.
I always order my steaks medium-well and that is how they are prepared. Enjoy the old time salad bar with sour dough rye bread which you cut yourself.
Make reservations as they are always busy!
I have been coming here since I was little. I love this place. I always get the steak teriyaki. They have a salad bar that is really good too. You have to get the raspberry sorbet for dessert. It is a very cozy place.
