I have used Edward at Scorpio on several of my office parties as well as at a few private parties. Edward has been a complete professional. Always there with advice about how to make my event better for the appropriate group.
I have used Scorpio Entertainment for over 2 years now and everytime the events get better and better.
It is funny how many of my guests ask if Ed is the DJ before accepting my event invites.... HUM???? I guess I should be insulted...LOL

Edward was a GREAT DJ. My husband and I hired him for our wedding on fairly short notice (2.5 months). He was our first choice and exceeded expectations. He kindly managed our requests and my sometimes pushy parents' requests. He got all of our songs correct and transitioned between them perfectly. People were dancing the whole night - it was important to us to have all generations on the dance floor at some point and it worked out great.
My husband's favorite thing about Edward was his organization - he met with us two months before the wedding so we could learn about his work and get advice on songs and the flow of the event. What a party! Had soooo much fun at this past Monday's event! Our organization hired Edward and he was more than prepared-specialized graphics and everything. Great selection of songs to dance to and sing plus his music knowledge is incredible!!

History
Established in 2005
Scorpio Entertainment was started in the Fall of 2005, by local stage actor and entertainer, Edward Daniels. Daniels began his music career as a DJ in his hometown of Emporia, Virginia, where he served as a radio announcer at his local station. He began work in the DC nightlife scene upon arrival in Washington, DC. After numerous inquiries by bar patrons to perform at private functions, he began quickly moved into the private event sector.
Today, Scorpio Entertainment boasts a force of 15 professional DJs performing at over 100 events annually.
Meet the Business Owner: Edward D.
Edward Daniels is a Washington, DC based actor with an entrepreneurial passion towards all realms of entertainment. Daniels admits that he created his successful DJ business in order to ''...create a steady income and flexible schedule in between acting gigs.'' Using his stage and film experience, he's been able to provide event clients with a uniquely creative perspective on the production of their events. "Whether I'm performing at a Sweet 16, wedding, corporate holiday party, or 5k race, it is my goal to offer a selection of music that will enhance the experience of every single guest in attendance...which, not only, satisfies my desire to satisfy the crowd before me, but also spotlights the client for hosting a memorable affair!"
Daniels has appeared on local stages including Round House Theatre, Washington Shakespeare Company & The Kennedy Center. His minor film & TV work includes Commander in Chief (ABC), The District (CBS), Step Up 2: The Streets, & Ladder 49.
