3 reviews for Scitech Hands On Museum
My kids LOVE this place. It's never crowded - even when school is out. My 7 and 8 year old are big enough to be able to do all of the hands on activities. Playing TV news reporter is their favorite. They could do it for hours.
There is also a spot for my 3 year old to do hands on activities.
The staff here is fantastic. They are engaging and helpful and enthusiastic.
One more thing - they are members of the Association of Science Museums - so if you buy a membership here you can get into hundreds of other museums around the country for free and you can get into the Notebaert Nature Museum and the Museum of Science and Industry for half price.
My kids' favorite spot. As the title suggests, plenty of hands-on activities for children of all ages, even a tots' section. My daughter begs me to take her there. We like the down-to-earth people, and the historic building makes the experience all the more authentic. Park in the nearby garage for free when the museum stamps your ticket.
Worth the drive from the city. The staff is very friendly-and teachers are FREE! My kids had a great time. They learned a lot and were there about three hours. It was not crowded.
