In my opinion, the wine is excellent, especially the Hurricane wine. Make sure to buy your Hurricane with some Sprite to mix!

BUT.. my favorite part of Schnebly Redland's Winery is FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE WINERY! Every second and fourth Friday there is live music, two for one bottle specials, and an overall good time. I go almost once a month, depending on the performer the night can be extremely romantic or rowdy (salsa night!).

Just make sure to go during the winter, it gets HOT during the summer and they have one fan for the entire outdoor area.

The wines are absolutely horrid, so horrid it's actually fun.  The tour I did I would not recommend to any wine buffs, as you will find out how clueless the guides are, as well as unprofessional and just way too young.  The truth is these people should not be making wines.  They had a novel (not really, it exists throughout the world) idea, and while I thank them for helping to boost the area, I wish they would put genuine effort into their product.

The expansive grounds on which the "winery" is located is quite beautiful and available for lunches.

This is the worst wine (and I being kind by calling it wine) that I have ever sampled. Everything was so bad that we made a joke out of our experience. At least we cried from laughing so hard at the effort that they put into this disgusting wine.

I really liked this winery.  As part of my Redlands tour yesterday we stopped here and were really impressed.  It is a very beautiful place and you can rent it out and hold events there.  We did the tour and the tasting and it was $13! I thought it was really affordable.  I wasn't impressed with the tour guide..he was just a young kid and if you know even just a little about wine you can tell he really doesn't know his stuff.

It just so happened that yesterday they had a chef preparing a nice lunch of paella if you wanted to buy a plate. We already had lunch plans so we didn't but it smelled great!  For the tasting they give you a wine glass (which you can keep and get future tastings freee!) and you can try 5 of the wines.  Our lady helping with the tasting was nice and gave us an extra cup each :)  They also have specialties, like the sparkling wine which you can pay a little more for.  I particularly liked the guava and passion fruit and bought a bottle of each.

If you buy 4 or more bottles of wine each bottle drops down to $12.  So take advantage. All in all a great day at the winery.

This place is terrific.  I didn't get a chance to go when they had live music, which would've been great; but you can always buy a bottle or two and enjoy it in the courtyard regardless if anybody is playing live.

Most of the wines are sweet, really sweet; which makes it kind of tough to enjoy an entire bottle in one sitting.  They do have an avocado wine, and that one is subtle and maybe another type that is mild in flavor as well.

Bring a sack lunch with you or some bread and cheese.

This is a tough review, because while it's fun to go there, to take the Redland Tour, and to see parts of Homestead that I probably never would have otherwise seen, the truth of the matter is that the wine is simply god-awful.
It's a very pretty location, it's fun to go with a group, to see parts of Miami, to try something different, that's all true.
I guess if you have an open mind, try it, just be prepared for some really really bad wine.

The winery is an amazing place; you drive along for what seems like eternity and suddenly it rises out of the farmlands like a mirage in the desert: a gorgeous building fronted by a large fountain houses the wine-tasting area and gift shop where the tours begin. But the true beauty is in the grounds; surrounded by one of the largest tiki huts in existence, an inner courtyard landscaped with tropical plants boasts twin waterfalls bisected by a stone bridge leading to the winery proper.

Under the tiki mansion, a corner stage, picnic tables and comfortable lawn furniture scattered throughout with fans to keep the mosquitos at bay.

The prices are good: 5 wine tastings for $6 and tours of the winery for $7.

Best of all:  Schneblys is providing live music entertainment on Sundays now:  the Sunday we went the wonderfully talented acoustic folk duo Jennings and Keller were playing, but that's another review!

Let's have wine! What? You want a locally grown wine? No worries, why not try South Florida's unique wines that cannot be found anywhere else?

America's Southernmost "tropical" winery. They produce wines out of carambolas (aka star fruits), lychees, mangos, guavas, and passion fruits.  It is already becoming a tourist trap due to its popularity, but nevertheless, it's still a great place to visit. My favorite so far is the guava and the mango.

$6 5-wine tasting, $6 tour available. The tour is only availabue during weekends. And you even get a glass cup. Bring it back, and you get free tasting! How does that sound?!

Very interesting.  The Schnebly's is under renovation.  Right now the tour and wine tastings are half off.  When you are done, you get to keep the glass and come back for more.  There were 6 types of wines that are currently produced at the Schnebly's.  They are all made out of fruits (no grape).  Each has its own distinct flavor, ranging from dry to sweet.  They will also be at the Harvest Festival on the 17 and 18th. Bring your glass for another "free" tasting.
