I spent four nights in the rose room, which lived up to its description! It was quiet, the room and bath were very large and attractively Victorian. Breakfast was outstanding. Wonderful front and side porches for relaxing. Area also has lots of interesting houses if you are inclined to walking around.

Run do not walk from this place. I reserved a room over a month ahead of when I was going to stay. I had to cancel due to a family emergency and I have called and emailed with no response. Am unable to get my refund. I went to the BBB and found I was the not the first to have this problem with this business.

Built around 1903 this residential Victorian home was owned by a business man named Henry Blodget who's family ran a mill for flour production. After nearly 100 years Michelle Scarlett purchased the property in 1997 began renovation, preservation, and decorating with period wall papers and antiques.
