Noelle is a great hostess and she knows how to host an event. :)  If you've missed out, there's always next time and come prepared to eat.

This event was served buffet style, so we get an opportunity to walk a bit  and have a little bit of an exercise.

And the delicious entrees that was prepared for us:

Roasted Garlic Edamame  (yum)
Sauteed Shallots and Sweet Soy Sauce

The Red Crane Hamachi Fondue
Skewered Hamachi and Avocado with a Warm Garlic Vinaigrette Fondue

(this was very unique)

Orange Dragon Roll
Shrimp Tempura with Salmon, Avocado and Shiso Salsa

(very good)

Curry Korokke
Crispy Outside and Creamy Potato Inside, filled with Shiitake Mushrooms and Caramelized Onions and Garnished with Pickled Japanese Vegetables

( i love this too)

Kona Coffee Glazed Ribs
Oven Roasted, Falling-Off-The-Bone, Baby Back Ribs
(my favorite, this was definitely a favorite of mine, and you know it's a good thing when there's a line waiting for it) .  I'll call this the MVP of the line up :D

The Red Crane "Lollipops"
Crispy Chicken Wings Tossed in a Tangy House Sauce

i remember seeing this on the table and thought lollipops, hmm. . interesting but it turned out to be a favorite too)

The dessert was the panna cotta and the lava cake with ice cream.   I loved the panna cotta and the lava cake was delicious but the ice cream was different cause it was on the sour side.

And of course the wonderful company of other yelpers.

Thanks Noelle and Red Crane.

September couldn't not have ended better!!

This was another amazing event put on by the lovely Noelle at the Red Crane.  She is an amazing hostess!  Always making sure everyone is fed and watered (or wined or saked or whatever your beverage of choice happens to be on said night) and she floats about smiling and having so much fun while doing it!!

On the way home I asked Claire what she liked the best and her response:

I liked when Noelle brought me the bowl of mints!  Then she said she loved dessert and her rice.  :)

It was so nice to meet some new Yelpers....James G., Alex, Leslie, Pat, Eli, I love having so many dinner companions!   Then there are the ones I've met numerious times that are always so sweet, Mikey U, our amazing photographer, Tetsu, Grace Y., Crys B, Beth ( I didn't get to say hi, I'm so sorry!), and I formally met the infamous John Michael.  Who could miss that smile and the devilish look in his eye!!!

We had sweet and savory September.  What is in store for October.....
stay tuned!!
