    It's everything a children's theatre should be, and they even have shows that are appealing to adults.

    The Savannah Children's Theatre has recently established itself as THE community theatre in the area. They offer classes 6 days a week for students 5 to 18 years old, and offer auditions for all ages.

    The shows are all family-friendly, although the theatre does rent out it's space to other local productions in the city (some of which are more adult-geared shows). Some shows that have been recently produced at the Savannah Children's Theatre include:

    Beauty and the Beast
    High School Musical
    Peter Pan
    Children of Eden
    Annie Get Your Gun
    Seussical
    Oliver!
    Bye, Bye, Birdie

    There are shows performed at the Children's Theatre practically every weekend of the year. Prices for the shows range from $5 to $20 a person, depending on the show.

    If you are looking for a family night out, and can't get the babysitter to stay in, you can bring the whole clan down to the Savannah Children's Theatre and let your family enjoy a live show.
