More High Priced CRAP! The worst Chinese food experience I have had in a while. Food was OK Prices Are Very High, Portions are small. I dropped $35 and felt taken. When my friend and I left, we turned to each other and in Stereo said That Sucked!
Go to China Moon down the road....

I love there sushi, but yet have not tried there other options in the menu. I have never had a complain about anything ( food, customer service, drinks etc...) This place is a bit small if you have a large crowd.

The sushi is ok, definitely not excellent. ( I'm a big fan of Fugakyu and Oiishi in Boston). The sushi option is fairly limited around here so unless you want to drive into the city, you don't have a lot of choices. I recently tried the sushi at Emperor's Choice in Reading and was blown away. Also, I usually eat out with my family so I find Sato to be a little small, but the people are nice and the place has good ambiance.
Sushi is not excellent, but it is certainly not bad either. Best in Stoneham for sure. I would go here now and again when I lived in Stoneham. Its a solid place. Japanese and Chinese with some interesting fusion menu items as well. They get a little creative with some of the sushi rolls, which is always a good sign. If I wasn't a little too concerned with how unhealthy it is, the Sushi Pizza looked like it would taste really good. Something about it all being fried just scared me away from it. Overall, solid for the location. I dig the live Jazz music too.
This is a wonderful restaurant. We got a little bit of everything and enjoyed it all! We got the crab rangoons (filled with tons of cream cheese), steamed dumplings (excellent), Spicy Tuna Roll, Winter Roll and their must try? The Snow Mountain Maki... it's was a special on Saturday night and I think it might be one of the best things I have ever tasted. Ever. Call for reservations as it's a tiny little place. I'll be calling every weekend to see if their Snow Mountain Maki is on the menu.

This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the Woburn area. It's relatively cheap and lot of variety of specialty rolls. Very tasty!

the sushi is EXCELLENT here. Try their dragon rolls. The restaurant itself is small, but so nice with table linens and it's candelit.
The drinks are also pretty good.

My husband and I eat here maybe once a month, usually sushi. The sushi is pretty good quality, generally large pieces, and an ok selection of fish (they have all the basics, and some interesting specials, but from time to time I wish for a larger selection). Sushi prices are decent, what we were used to paying closer to Boston.
In terms of their appetizers, sides, and Chinese food, I can't say as much. We often order miso soup (standard), seaweed salad (good), and sometimes dumplings, satay, or the like (all ok). The Chinese food other people get LOOKS darn good.
Of interest, they have "live jazz" on Thursday nights, something of the ambient variety. It's nothing spectacular or offensive, but seems to make for a large crowd.
They also do a LOT of mixed drinks, which are quite popular and which we've sampled and found good. (Actually, for this reason, and the crowds, I say this place is not good for kids. But if your kids like Chinese food and you go early, it's probably fine.)
I'll just sum up the cons for this place; there seem to be a lot but it's the only good sushi we've found in the area (so far):
-long waiting times for tables, especially Thursday-Saturday
-even with takeout, long waiting times*
-slow delivery service
-tiny sushi bar- seats maybe 5
-service can be not-so-friendly, even when efficient
-only good for small groups at tables, I'd say, due to speed of service and crowds
*On a recent weekend (September '07) we ordered takeout by phone and it WAS ready when we went to pick it up, which was a big improvement.

We're one of the monthly regulars here too. Husband loves sushi and this one is very high on his list of favorites. They do offer several vegetarian and vegan options as well as Chinese and Japanese entrees. A nice place for a small group (4-6) or a date.
