Saticoy Regional Golf Course
3 reviews for Saticoy Regional Golf Course
On our way back from our Labor Day getaway, we stopped here to go driving. We chose this place over some place in SB because it's associated with American Golf and we had some range cards leftover from our visit to the Dominguez Hills Golf Course, which is also part of American Golf.
I agree with the penguin that the range is in a slight state of disrepair. We played off mats and they would tend to slide around. We didn't have time to play the course but the fairways look pretty wide and open. The one definite good thing about the place is that it's not too far from the ocean so it's still gets cool air.

Saticoy is basically just your run-of-the-mill neighborhood 9-hole pitch-and-putt course. There are no water hazards and only two longish holes. The course and the driving range are in a state of mild disrepair, but the fees are low, so it's well worth a little time before or after work if you can squeeze it in on a spring or summer day. People recognize this course as being what it is, so you won't find many PGA-wannabe egos out here.

This course is not for golf snobs. It is for people like me, peole who have been playing for a few years, who only get to play evrey couple of months, and who are happy if they par a few holes each round. Its cheap, I think $13 with out cart & $ 20 with. Its a good course to practice, and you can duff evrey hole and no one will care!
