Vidal Sassoon in Miami Beach is THE place to go for an amazing haircut!

The service is wonderful, the atmosphere is down-to-earth yet classy and you are highly likely to leave there feeling sexxxy with three x's.  Yeah that's right. :)

I would highly recommend you book your hair cut appointment with Audra Billingsley, a senior stylist who is absolutely awesome (you'll notice I come down from Philadelphia to get my hair cut with her!) and pretty much at the heart of my rave reviews for Vidal Sassoon Miami.  She's a gifted hair professional that gets it right every time--and she's got a lovable, genuine personality that makes the entire experience worth every penny.

Hats off to Vidal Sassoon Miami--and Audra!

I have been travelling nationally for work this year, and have not been able to see my stylist Audra in several months. I was in Colorado last month and in desperate need of hair help, so I found a nice little salon with Aveda products (see my review). They did a good job and I am grateful for their service, however  nothing really compares to how my hair feels (and how I feel for that matter) when my hair is in her hands.

I would recommend this salon to anyone wanting TOP quality service. I have never walked away dissatisfied from her work, and for those who are used to a certain level of excellence when it comes to being styled, you will never beat this service for the price.

All I can say is I hope to god I can get down to Miami soon or I'm going to have to fly Audra up to see me, and for those of you lucky enough to be in Miami right now, for god's sake go and see her... You never knew your hair could look so good..!!!

I don't think I can ever go back to those "regular" hair salons...

I've been spoiled by Vidal Sassoon.

Most of us are aware of the term "buyer's remorse" however, there is also something known as "cutter's remorse" ok fine I made the term up and I'm copyrighting it. And as it's creator let me explain that cutter's remorse is that morose, regretful feeling you get once you're paying for your haircut and walking out the door, not too mention tipping someone who just made you want to cry.

It's that temporary gloom, yes your hair will grow back but for the next few days you will have to come to terms with your new hair cut. And yes you will eventually grow to love it...

NOW Imagine a cut that you love from the minute you see it and a month later is still getting you compliments (even from other hair stylists at other salons).

I came in here with a head of platinum blonde hair and asked very bluntly- "can you make me a bruntette (my natural hair color) without there being any red in my hair?"  I stressed my hatred of the red.

We had a consultation, i brought pictures- no problem they said.

Come the next day-after hours there bc they are soo slow- i leave with a head of hair as red as a crayon in a box.

This was two years ago.  I constantly have my hair died brown at another place in NYC to hide the red but it still comes through as the dye fades.  The red wont go away!  It haunts my life.  It has almost fully grown out but the red remmnants are still there.

That place has alotta nerve- they r so pompous and in love with themselves but they cant deliver.  They should have just been honest and said they couldnt do the job.

DO NOT GO HERE IF IT CAN BE AVOIDED.

My hairstyle and color desperately needed some TLC.  My stylist, Audra B., and colorist, Jesse M., delivered top-notch service.

Upon my arrival, the pleasant and professional front desk staff greeted me w/ zero attitude and offered me refreshments, I opted for the lemonade and fresh berries which were wonderful considering I was over-heated from the nearly 10 block walk from my home.

My money was well spent, prices are reasonably high because the service, quality of design and care is worth every penny.

These salon professionals are keepers!

The overall experience was excellent.  Besos to my sweethearts at Vidal Sassoon!  I'm lovin' my new hair!!!

I thought the colorist was great and the receptionist was very friendly but I was really dissapointed with my hair cut. Vidal is all about straight edges and being cutting edge but at the same time they need to deliver what the customer asks for. The cut ended up settling after two weeks but I just couldn't style it well as it was meant to just lay there. I love body in my hair and I was really clear about that. After he finished cutting my hair he dried it straight and I said that I prefer it to be styled with more volume. This is when the snobbiness came out where the stylist told me that isn't what Vidal does. This salon needs to be very clear about it if they only do certain types of cuts. I spent a hefty sum there and was very dissapointed in the attitude of that stylist so much so that I will never give Vidal another chance and would not recommend it to anyone else. I would call the place very one dimensional in regards to haircuts and there is no need for snobbiness to your own client.

Well worth the price if you place yourself in the right hands.
When you visit Vidal Sassoon's salon, you should expect to have a cut that is precise and meticulous--they use only scissors here (no razors) and have an eye for detail. I have very fine Asian straight hair and its difficult to find people who can cut my hair without a) bludgening my layers b) giving me China-doll cuts. I also appreciate that VS is a salon that's up-to-date with fashion and styles, I feel like I don't have to explain certain looks which I appreciate.
As far as experiences go, its up to the stylist. The first time was a bad stylist who miscommunicated with me. The 2nd time I went with Audra (thx Katherine M!) and she was a great listener and was able to translate what I wanted. I paid around $80. The price also includes a free bang touch-up later.  I would recommend people to visit if you want a great 'do/makeover.
