Half market and half restaurant I only really come here for the market area.  But that's only because whenever I'd come in for the restaurant half, the wait would take what seemed to be forever.  Don't get me wrong, the food is okay but the service needs work.

The market area though, I LOVE the fact that they have one of my favorite Filipino brands: Goldilocks!  Polvorons, Pan de Sal, Ensaymadas, Hopia... Yes, I love the sweet stuff  - so what?

Then of course, I have to come here to get my lumpia wrappers (preferrably already seperated so that way making lumpias and turon will go by faster  hee hee).

This place is a combined little market which specializes in Filipino food items and a restaurant serving traditional Filipino dishes and some Chinese dishes.

Homesick and missing some of my grandma's comfort food, I decided to try this place out with another Filipina friend.  We were both happily surprised and left very full!  It's not exactly like home, but pretty darn close!

The restaurant has a full menu of Filipino dishes from Lumpia (egg rolls), to Pinakbet, to Dinaguan, to Crispy Pata, to Pancit Palabok, to Kare Kare, etc.  I wanted to order the entire menu!  The portions are very large and cheaply priced.  Service is a little slow but the wait staff is very sweet and friendly.

They have a rotating daily lunch special that comes with Lumpia, white rice, and Sago (a sweet tapioca pearl drink) for about $5.99.

I'll definitely be making return trips to eat and to do a little grocery shopping!
