if i could give these kind ladies 7-stars i would.
the hospitality and quality of take out beats any Michelin star i've ever been to.
pizza? fenomenal. maybe even best pizza in jersey city.

$4 for the best burger you've ever had AND bomb dessert for an extra $3 (TOPS).

these ladies are like my 2nd mothers and feed me better than my 1st.

Come for the Egyptian food. All of the low ratings for this place are for the pizza.

The Egyptian food was amazinggg. Big portions and super flavorful. Also, the food is a affordably priced. I got two desserts at $2 each and the lamb gyro plate for $7. The service is also lovely. We'll be making this a regular spot-- I can't believe I've lived in this area for so long and not gone into this spot until now!

if i could give no stars i would! their pictures are false advertising and misleading. i ordered a margarita pizza. the picture has a cheesey pizza. that is NOT what i received. too much sauce and barely any cheese.

Loved the hawashi, chicken kebab and pickled eggplant. The accompanying rice is awesome. Looking forward to trying a lot more of the Egyptian dishes.

Their pizza is sooooo good!!!!!!! I was staying nearby and I had to come in a few times. I just had their margherita pizza (no basil?) But despite the missing basil... it was delicious. If you are in the area this is a must. It was even really yummy cold. I also had their lentil soup that came with a garlic knot, tasty as well. The ladies that work here are super sweet. I believe its a family owned business but not entirely sure either way their food is absolutely worth checking out.

Delivery took over an hour and the pizza was not only cold but hard like a rock. It was so hard that I almost chipped my tooth. What cheese? What sauce? The product itself was awful. All around, an awful experience. I never give 1 stars on Yelp, but man, this place was just that bad. I should have listened to the other Yelp reviews and ordered elsewhere. I ordered on Eat24 and there was guaranteed delivery within 45 minutes so I figured I would give the place a try. Yeahhhh...no. When I called the restaurant, the woman on the phone gave me attitude and sass and even stated that it had not been an hour. Bye Felicia.

P.S. I also ordered the bak lava since it was only a $1.50 and man, it was like chewing a damp, sweaty sock. How does this place stay in business?!

Customer service is the best!! The lady make you feel so welcomed when you walk in. She's so nice and friendly and tries her best to help. I don't care for the food but I still support because of the excellent service.

Very RUDE and insulting behavior of LADY owner.
I asked her about credit card minimum payment, she said no minimum.
I ordered half charcoal chicken. And then I realized I have Apple Pay so I asked her do you accept this, and she was not having any idea of Apple Pay as if she never heard of it.
She started blabbering at us, saying don't waste my time and all go now even though I was the only customer there.

This humble place deserves a lot of credit. My previous review was because I was left without food, due to them messing up my delivery and thus, never got my food.

Because I like the food and the family who run this establishment, I went back (to pick up) and as always, I enjoyed my food. It is made fresh and it is home cooking without any unreasonable expectations.

If you live near by, or find yourself in the Journal Square area, give them a try!!!

The best: the delivery woman. She was smiling and beyond courteous in the pouring rain at 9pm on a Saturday night. I gave her a 40% tip! Ordering through Yelp was also great.

The food: Brick oven Margherita pizza - sadly this was not good if compared with real italian or even real NYC Margherita pizza. It was a look-alike version. The dough, the sauce, the seasoning... everything was some other version. I've run across this before when a restaurant thinks the look of something equals the taste and experience of the real thing.

Dessert: I ordered baklava (ok, Baklava at a Pizzeria is clearly a red flag LOL). I received the Knafe (shredded wheat dessert) instead. And it was super delicious!

I'll order dessert again. I wish I liked the pizza. But I don't, at all.
