2 reviews for Sandy Beach
It was a perfect day for a beach break, apparently, everyone else in the South Shore had the same idea. Even so, there were plenty of free, read, FREE, parking to be had. Drank way too much bubble tea on the way down and had horrific flashbacks of beach restrooms past but found these facilities to be clean and amazingly well kept. The water was shallow and warm for a long swim! Soft soft sand, friendly beach goers and 2 parked ice cream trucks nearby = happy happy me.
Now I understand the etymology of the word 'gull-less'. Freakin' seagulls walked right up to our bags and stole our snacks. Next time I bring my air rifle. Bring it on you food snatching pea brains!

This is a beautiful beach. The sand looked amazing and the water looked inviting. I say looked because we drove forever to get to this beach. Once we got there the parking attendant told us we had to have a sticker to park and only residents had stickers. She was pretty rude about it. We drove around the neighborhood looking for parking, but there was no where. If you do decide to go to this beach and don't live there bring your bike and ride in.
