I went to Sandrine for a professional headshot (my first photograph since taking family photos) and I couldn't agree more with the other Yelpers: professional, friendly, talented, ...
She takes every measure to explain what and why she's doing things (e.g. white balance, lighting, contrast ratios). And her passion for her work is reflected in her results. She's also really efficient and prompt, as she was able to post my album within an hour after departure and send the final headshot also within an hour of selection.
Two other things I'd also like to mention is that 1) she went WAY above and beyond in editing one of my photos (really appreciate that) as I think she probably couldn't stand having even the slightest blemish on her work and 2) she caught an error in my invoice as I had overpaid and promptly credited this to my second headshot.
I would absolutely recommend Sandrine to everyone considering her services.
What a pleasure to work with Sandrine Hahn! I posed for her as a model for Pulp Fashion and she seemed to know just how to shoot the images to capture what the clothing designer had in mind for her pieces. She operated as a true professional, swiftly adjusting the full lighting system and (even as I saw them emerge in the raw) producing some truly stunning images. In addition to her friendly and personable demeanor, she really seemed to enjoy what she was doing. I would certainly recommend Sandrine to anyone looking for portraitures or photography of any kind.
I love Sandrine's work. There is so much passion and life in Sandrine and it certainly comes through in her photographs. Sandrine captures the beauty of an ordinary moment and makes it extraordinary. Wow! I just realized that another reviewer mentioned the same thing using almost the same words. That is the essence of Sandrine's work and talent. I wholeheartedly recommend her services.
What I most love about Sandrine's art and photography is that she says so much with seemingly so little. There is no glitter, clutter or excess. The works are simple, pure and Zen yet rich with color, energy and passion. It is Life herself that shines and bursts through Sandrine's creations, Life in all her beauty, craziness and awe. Using Sandrine's vocabulary, all I can say is BRAVO!!
From the first moment I walked into Sandrine's loft for her open gallery, I was completely mesmerized and moved by the vivid colors, intensity, drama, depth, power and energy of her work. As I studied each art piece, I was delighted to discover and view a new interpretation and perspective on nature, people and life. Sandrine's work is not only visually stunning, the object of each piece is given an opportunity to blossom and shine. Her exceptional ability to unearth the unique quality and beauty of her subjects allows them to bring forth their greatest gifts and tell their stories. Toward the end of my tour at her open gallery, I had a flash memory of my breathtaking experience watching the 1992 film "Baraka" for the first time. Sandrine is truly gifted!!
