My favorite southern comfort food & BBQ restaurant. I'm all about the Carolina pulled pork and veggies cooked in stock that is yummy in the tummy. Great price for quality of food. Food here simply hits the spot and easy on the wallet.
Amazing comfort food for a great price. I think I ate an entire chicken the last time I was there. The sweet tea is nothing to scoff at either. If for some reason you are in Fayetteville, you have to stop in at Sandpiper.
If you want fresh seafood, that down home feel and comfort foods to boot...you've found the right place. I literally hurt myself when I go here. The entry fee is about $11.25 and you can eat and eat and eat until your heart's desire (or not). From the pulled pork and famous North Carolina taste/sauce to the country vegetables. From the hot yeast rolls to the ever so familiar desserts. My oh my...anytime I am fortunate to travel to or through the area...I announce it to all interested parties that Sandpiper is where I'll be right after church on Sunday or will enjoy with the family on Saturday night. A feast for a king or queen - buffet style! There's even something on the buffet that keeps the little ones coming back...we always have two finicky eaters with us when we go and they have noooooo problems getting their fill and then some. You will get your money's worth and more.
