We stopped for a few drinks with family. We had the best waitress Candy. So friendly and personality was awesome. We are going back again to eat and hopefully we have Candy take care of us.

What an extensive menu! What a beautiful and congenial bartender (Madison)! I had the Rammer Jammer Burger (double burger with bacon)---it was served promptly and was prepared great. Consider me a new "regular"

Fabulous, fresh raw oysters and peel and eat shrimp. Fun, friendly environment. Fried shrimp platter is excellent. Great place to watch a game.

Saturday evening at 5 - more employees than customers. Sat at the bar and ordered a 30A blonde ale. Came n a pint glass.
Ordered an Oyster Po'boy. Sure wish i hadn't. Dry bread, oysters room temp, no tomato slice and no lettuce. Oh they put a tasteless sauce on the oysters.
It was hard to tell bread from oysters. Did not finish. The fries were hot.
Got the bill $9 for a local draft and $17 for that sandwich. Yuck!!!!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kirk A.Gainesville, GA01419Mar 2, 2024
We have been going to SandBar for well over 2 years...every time we are at our home in PCB. Probably have referred these guys over 100 times to friends and acquaintances.
Well, today was a game changer. We were there early...around 5 pm and the crowd was just starting to ease in. We were seated outside by a very nice lady who was wiping down the tables ...all was going great.
Then, the young man who was to be our server walked to the table to ask what we would like to drink.
My wife placed her order and said she wanted Kendall Jackson- and before she could get the word- Caberanet out of her mouth..he said "Kendall Jacskon is a brand...what type wine?" Well...I let that one slide...as he went in to place the order. Shortly he came out with a glass of white wine.
We told him that we ordered Caberanet. He quickly smarted back with "there are 2 Cabs- a white and a red". Hmmmm....Did not know that!???
He spun around and was making comments all the way to the door.
At that point...I was done....we pay too much to eat out and to have someone with an attitude from the start is just not worth it.
I went in to cancel our appetizer order and to pay for our drinks. He said no problem...they are on me. What is the problem?
I explained that we pay too much to be smarted off to by our server. And he began to start in again with how he was right and all he was trying to do what explain that there were two caberanets (white and red)???
We began to exit and the Asst GM came
out to apologize and ask what had happened. We explained it all in detail to her. She was very apologetic and kind. About that time the young man came out again and continued to explain that he was right and there was just a misunderstanding on our part.
No sir...no misunderstanding. You just need to find another occupation...one that does not include the word...service.
Sandbar would be well advised to find this young man a job better suited for him, as serving the public is not it. Sandbar still has great potential to be a super place to enjoy.
Best wishes.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Joe M.Indianapolis, IN04Mar 16, 2024

Waited on our food for an hour and a half!! Food was very mediocre. The place is filthy. The banners and the vents are covered in probably a decade of dust. They need to take one day and clean!!

We had 4 orders to go. If there were such thing as a zero rating, I'd do it. We literally had to throw all of the food away. The chicken Cesar wrap was made by soaking in rancid used oil. I took one bite and then smelled this disgusting flour wrap. The beef sandwich had one paper thin salty piece of meat on ciabatta bread and with a slice of cold American cheese on it. No au jus was given as was included on the menus. The Philly steak sandwich which was supposed to be loaded was nothing but a small thin slice of dried roast beef on a bun. That's it!
The fried chicken wings tasted greasy and left over from days past.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Vincent C.King George, VA01Mar 31, 2024
Service was an issue 1 hour wait for burnt wings.. this place is not even busy and you will have 2 hour wait periods. Definitely would not recommend.

Do not go here unless you want to have the worst service of your life. We waited 30 minutes for a server and finally just got up and left. Very disrespectful staff, they do not care at all. If I could give zero stars I would.
