I came on Sunday during the day and people were busy playing volleyball outside not getting lit inside. It's free to grab a court and can get busy during peak hour. You can reserve online but that's going to cost you. It's hard to wear masks when you're playing volleyball trying to breathe and not suck wind in a mask so don't give people a hard time about it. We are also staying six feet far away from others outside. Stay home if you're worried about it. They also have volleyball tournaments if you are interested. Sign up at Dallassocialclub.com

This place is so neat! We came here on a Wednesday night and it was packed! Luckily after 10 mins we found a court to play. We had 2 teams of 3 people. It was so hot but we still had a lot of fun.

The restrooms were clean, staff was nice. It's free entry as well so it's pretty neat. Would definitely come back here again. I'm not too sure if they play music outside but I think that would be cool to play and hear music at the same time

The coolest beach volleyball bar in Dallas. They have open play and leagues you can play in with Dallas Sport & Social anytime. The sand courts are always well maintained and they even have a fire pit around to keep you warm in the winter time! They have a bar inside for drinks of all types and they also serve delicious food! The chicken quesadillas are a personal favorite!

Awesome view of the sunset and courts! Also always a great view of downtown Dallas that's hard to beat!

Absolutely terrible establishment to attend if you want to play beach volleyball. We played in a tournament there and they did not allow us to drink our own water. You had to purchase a small water bottle for $2 in order to stay hydrated. Imagine that while playing in 80-100 degree weather for up to 8 hours... Stick to playing elsewhere or at third coast in Houston. Will probably never come get again.

I've been in Dallas for 2 years now, and Sandbar remains one of my favorite places here! I came here pretty much on my first week here and I was hooked!
Free entry to just play volleyball, great drinks, and good bar food. The views of Downtown Dallas are amazing! The vibe is so chill and fun. Its a great place to wind down after a long day.
One of the top places to go in Dallas. Highly recommend.

I've been coming here since they opened. They've come a long way since then :)

I play co-ed league volleyball here so I'm here every week during the summer. This place is unlike a lot of downtown Dallas in that it's extremely, extremely chill. I mean we're all walking around barefoot and covered in sand, haha.

The food here is better than you would expect from a bar, IMO. Anything I've ever ordered has gone above my expectations- my favorite was always their fish tacos. They've also got servers running around making sure you're doing OK or seeing if you want another brewski.

I've been to other sand vball venues across the D/FW area and there's a reason I picked this place for my team: because it's the best one. Their sand is white sand, just like sand straight off the beach. Other volleyball places have sand that feels like dirt from a construction site (yuck).

Definitely worth a visit, especially if you like sand volleyball!

They overcharged me and added their own tip. My amount was pending for a few days and then updated to a new balance that I did NOT approve of. Very sketchy especially since I asked the guy if he needed me to sign a copy of the receipt he said no we don't use it. I have tried calling but the number does not work and goes straight to a voicemail. I left an email so let's see if they respond

Such a awesome atmosphere here at Sandbar cantina and grill. Stoped to have a cold beer, heard of this place before wanted to check it out since I was in the area. Will definitely be back to have lunch here. Really really neat place. Happy to say it felt like a small getaway, only thing it is missing is the beach. Yet, the Sand Sure made it feel like a fun summer day. Love love love.

My friend Jackson cannot get enough of Sandbar! His favorite thing to do here is kick off his shoes and play an above average set of volleyball with his best friends that he's ever had in his whole life. Of course, he also always enjoys a few delicious Michelob Ultras. "Sandbar I love you!!!!! I ALSO LOVE MICHELOB ULTRAS!!!!" - Jackson
