Adopted our little BOBA from Fuzzy Feet Dog Rescue and they told us to bring her to SD Pet Hospital for her first FREE exam since we adopted Boba.
We brought our dog in because she had an eye infection, a skin rash, and some discharge from her nose. We left her there for further examination and picked her up later the same day. Although the exam was free, we still had to pay for Boba's medication.
I believe the fee for a regular exam is $44-$45
Note to self: bring pet wipes. Boba apparently pooped in the crate they put her in. So when we picked her up, she had poop on her fur.
The entire staff was friendly. Promptly greeted when we arrived. We had Dr Rebekah Kane.
I'll probably write another follow-up review because Boba has to go back for another appointment.
It would be nice if they had pamphlets on Pet Insurance that they recommend for clients. -

I went here because of the reviews on yelp and had such a bad experience there! I brought my dog in to get his vaccines and an exam,and while I was waiting in the exam room all I could hear is them gossiping in the back about me and my dog, like wth are you serious right now that's so unprofessional. I had dr.jones come in and talk to me, she was rude and a smart ass, when she had to bring my dog in the back she was dragging him across the floor and calling him names right in front of me, that made me really pissed. I don't recommend this vet hospital, they charge so much money and they will lie to you about stuff just so you can pay for something you don't need. I came there thinking I was going to pay around $80, which in the end actually came out to be around $200. They said my dog had an ear infection when actually is was just really dirty and charged me so much for an ear cytology and ear medications. I will not bring my dog back here again.

I went here as the first place we went to sucked. I wish I came here first. It is bright, and it is clean. They all were very nice and professional. They didn't give me the hard sell and I appreciated it as we are a single income with kids family. Elsa is much better and I'll be bringing her in for a recheck soon. I'll probably use a free clinic for shots and spaying though as car brakes are much needed. Try it you'll like it!

They are terrific. Their supportive role with Fuzzy Feet Dog Rescue and me as a new owner was superb! Our newly-adopted 3-month-old puppy got sick after three days, and Jim of Fuzzy Feet told us to take her to SD Pet Hospital -- no expense to me -- during her first two weeks if anything went wrong. Dr. Rebeka Kane and all the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and professional, from their greeting and other assistance in the front, to the exam and diagnosis to calling Jim of Fuzzy Feet to consult, to phoning me twice over the next two days to check if our pup was OK. Thank you!

I agree! Dr. Lisa is awesome!! She's is very caring, super thorough, takes time with each & every person to explain things and makes sure you understand what's going on. She's great at getting back with you whether it's regarding test results or just returning a phone call. Her appts are good and long (she doesn't rush you out after 10 minutes). And not to mention her staff is great! They are always very chipper & cheerful, willing to do what they can to help you out/answer questions and generally make you feel comfortable while there. Which is good as she is very popular so the waiting room can be bustling at times. And they don't turn away dire emergencies so that sometimes appts may get pushed back a bit due to a crisis earlier in the day. But that's ok, because some day it may be me needing that emergency appt.
Care is always great and the people there are too! Thanks you guys!!

This place is fantastic!! The entire staff is wonderful :) I am soo happy we found this Pet Hospital! They are very thorough, friendly, and explain everything they are doing and why. I will absolutely keep bringing my dogs here!

One of the best Vet Clinics around. The entire staff is very friendly and truly caring. We have a pug that is practically our only child and he even loves going to the vet. We have been going here for about a year and have never had a problem. The prices are reasonable, the doctors are very informative and friendly and the staff is one of a kind. Additionally we always feel comfortable leaving out little guy here when we go out of town. If you love your pets, bring them here for the best care around.

The guys (girls) at San Diego Pet Hospital are as good as it gets.. My little tea cup Yorkie has more problems than my Ducati :) but he's like my son and I would do anything for him. They treat him so special and are so nice to explain everything to me. I wouldn't take my baby anywhere else. They are also supper gay friendly which means a lot to some people. I would (and do) recommend them to anyone.
