I was referred to Samuel Scott by my realtor during my house hunt. I was a first time buyer so I wasn't sure what to expect. Mark Robertson at Samuel Scott was great. He was extremely dedicated and worked hard to closed on time. Everything went smoothly and I had expected the process to be much more stressful.
I'd recommend Mark Robertson and the Samuel Scott team to anyone seeking personal service and a great home buying experience! -

I would not recommend this company to handle your mortgage. I thought they were knowledgeable at the beginning of the process, but so many things went wrong during closing that I would not recommend them to anyone. We closed on the house 14 days late, but were never told that there might be some problem closing on time until 2 days before the original closing date. We submitted all of our paperwork as soon as requested and were told everything was going fine. Luckily the seller was not worried about closing on time and did not attempt to fine us at all.
After we finally closed, we attempted to redeem a certificate we received at the beginning of the relationship, which said they would put $500 towards closing costs if closing was late. They flatly rejected this certificate by saying they "did not have a signed one in our file." This company ruined the entire home buying process for us and added unnecessary stress to what is supposed to be a positive experience. -

Samuel Scott Financial Group provided a service for me that was second to none!!! I will happily refer all of my friends and family to them. They helped me purchase the home of my dreams at a time when getting approved for a mortgage proved to be VERY tough. If there's any group that can get things done, it's Samuel Scott.
