Sammy's Flowers delivers to my work on a weekly basis. The flowers are fresh, vibrant, amazing, and typically last the whole week. The staff is knowledgeable and are honest when describing the life span of flowers, how different temperatures will effect the flowers, and are great for making recommendations.
Hank at Sammy's is especially helpful, as well as creative, his arrangements surprise me every week. Hank even helped me figure out what kind of plant I had at home; I inherited what turned out to be a Dragon Tree, and after snapping a picture of it, he was able to identify it and tell me the best way to care for it.
I love fresh flowers, and Sammy's really has a wonderful assortment! Further, they are locally owned, so you can feel good about shopping local!
I am going to be using Sammys Flowers for my wedding and I was very impressed with their unique selection, friendly service and amazing prices!
I am very excited to see what they come up with for my wedding and I recommend Hank. They offered great service.
My Friend loved the flowers. The florist interpreted what I wanted successfully!

I've only been to a few flower shops in my relatively short life. They tend to run together. I'd be lying if I said Sammy's was dramatically different than most places I've gone (they've all got flowers...right?) BUT it is different enough to be noticeable and that difference materializes itself as a good selection of healthy looking flowers and genuine service with a smile.
A few moments with my hands in my pockets on Glisan staring at the pots was all it took for a friendly face to ask what I had in mind and what I might like to pair my selection with. I went with a few cala lilies and a fragrant lily on the side for some fragrance. Duh.
Once you've made your selection, head inside to have your flowers wrapped in white, pink, yellow or brown paper, slide your card (1) and you're off with a nice arrangement and proud feeling that you've supported a local business that deseves support.

(1) I was surprised that the receipt came sans a tip line. I asked if I "could get creative" with the receipt. I don't know the rules of tipping florists but I tipped $2 on a $14 arrangement. The girl who wrapped the flowers looked very taken back. Maybe I tipped too high.. or maybe you just don't tip florists.. I don't have any idea. In any case, if parting with $2 made someone's day then I'm all for it.
Sammy's has some of the best flowers I have ever seen!
My mom was an avid gardener and she also made beautiful arrangements. The arrangements at Sammy's reminds me of my Mom's arrangements- but, up to date.
Also, after high school I worked at a flower shop- it was one of the worst jobs I've ever had- Sammy's is a million times better--quality, designs, and prices!
Last month I wanted a nice arrangement for the room my brother and sister-in-law were going to stay in- I was going to do it myself, but alas, ran out of time. I want to Sammy's and said I was looking for pink peonies. Hank, who was working there, asked a couple of questions about what I wanted: open or closed? greens? how big? All really important things to ask! I did some shopping and I came back in 15 minutes to find a beautiful bouquet in a simple straight-vase. Perfect! And , the price was right at 25$!
I also got a cute little fern for myself... Hank gave me some care tips and the fern is still going!

I was so disapointed when my Sammy's flowers wilted after just one day, but the owner's husband contacted me and offered me new flowers! What service! When we went back, everyone was super friendly and explained they guarantee their flowers and want feedback so, that's awesome. They're definitely striving for greatness and take customer service seriously. I like that! And I LOVE my new flowers. They're beautiful! :)*high five Sammy's*
Sammy's Flower Shop feels more like an artist studio than a flower store. This place makes me swoon for so many reasons!

Not only do they know how to put together a unique and stunning arrangement, but they are very accommodating when it comes to last-minute deliveries so my charming beau is able to surprise me!!
I love this place (I'm beginning to think that I've only written reviews on the places I love...I should start writing more about the ones I don't!).
For whatever reason, their selection is just so much more distinct and beautiful than anywhere else you can buy flowers. Maybe it's because they don't wrap it all up in cheap cellophane, maybe it's because it doesn't include some hodge podge of daisies, mums, baby's breath and sprayed carnations. Who knows??
In reality, I think it's the quality of the plants, the friendly staff, the fantastic combinations you can put together and the fact that they wrap it all up in great butcher paper and tie it with natural ribbon. I also love that they work outside of the New Seasons on Division as well as deliver.
Even the aesthetically challenged would have trouble selecting an unattractive flower arrangement here. Sammy's has an ample selection of interesting blooms and branches to choose from. I love, love, love (yes, triple-love) that I can select an entire bouquet or just a bloom or two.
