I lived in one of their buildings with 4 good friends for 3 years. The apartment was huge with big sunny bedrooms and a comfortable living room. The kitchen and bathroom were relatively outdated but not run-down. The price was pretty good and we had a great location.
My main issue was that when things went wrong (which to be fair wasn't that often) the staff tended to make us feel like it was our fault and that we were inconveniencing them by bringing it up. Throughout the years our major trouble was with heat / hot water (it went out like 20 times, usually in the winter) our disposal breaking and us getting blamed / footing the bill, and a mice problem that lasted for about 7 months (huge headache, but fortunately the mice finally vacated once the winter was over). Also, our rent checks tended to get cashed like 2 weeks after they got sent in.
