An excellent find in butcher's hill! The bar area was a pleasant place to wait with a decent wine selection, full bar & many inventive cocktails to try. Menu was equally as inventive and all four of us found it difficult to decide what to order. The duck fat fries were a must (crispy & well seasoned) and the roasted red pepper soup in the trio of soups was especially a hit in my supper club group. I had the tuna, medium rare - it was delicious, but wouldn't say it was anywhere near the best i've had. a bit too salty for my tastes. The bison/short rib meatloaf dish was incredibly flavorful - loved it! We had flourless chocolate cake & the strawberry shortcake for dessert - nothing unforgettable, but the biscuit on the shortcake was flaky goodness. I'd also veto serving the candied beets with the chocolate cake - odd pairing and didn't go over well.
Service was excellent - attentive, prompt, but not overbearing. We enjoyed a fine meal on a monday night - very crowded to our surprise! we waited nearly 30 minutes for a table, so can't imagine what a weekend would be like. It gets a little loud, but I didn't find that it negatively affected my experience there. would definitely try it again!
