As soon as I got off my plane in  Salt Lake City, my SLC friend surprised me with a trip to the local cemetery.  The first thing I did in a new city was to see a cemetery!  I have a real morbid sense of entertainment.  Anyways, the ride through this cemetery was amazing.

Beautiful tombstones lined the landscape and curved downward due to old age.  There were thousands of graves to see and read off names of ppl who died a century ago.  Very cool.

However, ONE grave stands out amongst all the thousands of graves there.  The grave of LILLY E. GRAY born June 6, 1881 and died on November 14, 1958.  Her epitaph reads, "VICTIM OF THE BEAST 666"

The creepy thing about this grave is that NO ONE seems to know the real story about Lilly E. Gray and why her marker says that.  VERY CREEPY EVEN IN BROAD DAYLIGHT!!!!  worth checking out though!

Her plot number is  X-1-169-4E
