We have been getting pizza delivered from Sal's lately. They are the only ones in the East Windsor are that make Whole Wheat pizzs, which we order. If you like pepperoni, I would get one with that....they give you so much!

I didn't understand the fuss about new jersey pizza until I had sal's ... And from the true locals, this is as good or almost better than new york.
When I lived in California, I had someone hand deliver a whole pie as their carry on luggage. This is no joke, and coming in person- it didn't disappoint.
So, I got a slice of fresh mozzarella and the regular cheese. We sat inside ( a little cold and cramp), but family owned and a local hot spot for the teens. The crust is what makes this pizza and although I prefer my pizza with more sauce... this crust.. this crust... just do it. -

So this place has been around for as long as i can remember. its one of the places that holds fast in any economic condition and while lots of stores around it have come and gone....cept the mickey D's next door. this place is pretty damn good.
Id go with the pizza and the wings. cant go wrong with em. but if you want a sub/hoagie, cant go wrong with them either.
eating in is kinda cramped but they do deliver. they recruit from the highschool and they are pretty efficient but they do the tip dance sometimes which is kind of awkward when they charge you like 3 dollars for delivery fee.
service inside by the owners and workers is not what i would label the friendliest, but its a small hole in the wall that serves pretty decent food so cant really complain :).
also Ac is non existent so get it delivered and enjoy the coolness with a hot slice of pizza. -

New to the area so tried something close. Never again. Quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever had. Couldn't even finish the pie, which is saying a lot.

If you go other places it seems you always have to say, "extra cheese" to get that fair layer that's thicker then the crust and binds to the sauce. Sal's is a good honest pie. The pepperoni is excellent but the sausage is mundane. The wings are crispy and just hot enough to not want for more.
