This is a true family pizzeria.  A few tables, local news, the fresh smell of pizza and a fun friendly family staff and feel.  This is a great place for take out or a quick slice while you wait for laundry or heading out.

The sandwiches offer good quality meat but too too bready.  They need to have a little less bread on their subs.

Otherwise, this is a good place to eat.

Sal's makes a pretty good pizza (most of the time). When they're on, they're awesome, but there are a lot of times you get them when they're off and then you end up with burned crust and cheese. Their side dishes are also hit or miss. The fried ravioli is excellent, but the hot sandwiches haven't gone over well in our house. The coupons on the box are a nice incentive (save 15, get a free pie). Delivery has a charge. Interior dining is a simple, old-fashioned pizzeria.

Not very good pizza, will buy it in a pinch.  They warm up the stuffed slice in a microwave which is pretty lame.  Staff is very nice, dinners look good but they are pretty bla.  The place does a pretty good business because of its location, but it could be so much better if they just really took the time to taste there products.  Take their Penne Vodka, it's usually a pretty simple dish, some butter, heavy cream, tomato, shallot, vodka, prosciutto, maybe a few frozen peas a little grated cheese and fresh parsley on top.  I got it there twice and it tasted like they took a scoop of tomato sauce and spike it with heavy cream and called it a day.  It looked ok, but tasted like nothing..

A great little pizzeria. Their regular pies have a great crust, with just the right balance of sauce and cheese. Their Sicilian pizzas are fantastic, one of the best I've come across in the area. Also, great chicken wings and sandwiches. The eat-in portion of the place is pretty standard plastic tables and not too enticing, but get it to go and you'll be happy!
