I had kind of an emergency and needed to get a terrifying (read: makes the moms in Edward Scissorhands look normal and right) hair cut fixed. Someone with good hair recommended a particular stylist at Salon O, but when I got to my appointment I found out there had been a small scheduling mix-up and met a different stylist, Brittney. I think she's my new favorite. Her rates aren't cheap, but they are reasonable, and c'mon, man... we're talking about our hair here. Obviously my attempt to save money by getting a cheap hair cut didn't work. Lesson learned.
So, Brittney took quite a bit of time talking with me and discussing options for my below-my-shoulders hair turned weird half pixie cut half god-knows-what cut and figuring out the best option for me. We talked about maintenance commitment, daily time required to style, effort (as little as possible) I am able to put forth, my hair's texture (wavy and weird), and she fixed me right up. She went through each step to make sure I was comfortable and understood what/why she was cutting, and took several little breaks to have me thoroughly examine my hair to make sure I was going to love the end result as much as I could, and told me to call her if I have any questions or problems once I get home and have to try to style it by myself.
What I ended up with is exactly what I hoped for, and I feel like Brittney as well as all of the other stylists that I saw working, and even the receptionist, are knowledgeable and love what they do.
Another note: I'm not one to critique other people's yelp reviews, but I am very convinced of Salon O's 5-starness and I hope that the previous review won't steer people away from this salon. -

After two years of searching for a great hair stylist, I've found one - Amy Barker in Salon O. My hair is pretty tricky - very thin, curly and straight at once. Getting a haircut with Amy puts my hair in a great shape for 2-3 months (layers) and I don't have to spend hours styling it in the morning.
