Salon Juno
5 reviews for Salon Juno
I first went to the Salon Juno in Chinatown. This was back in high school when I had just broken up with someone. In a true "Asian" style (you know, you cut your hair all off when you break up with somebody - to start over and all) and I totally chopped it off.
I went up to a completely new hair stylist I had never ever met, and told them to chop my hair off. Considering the circumstances, he was friendly, wonderful and did a great job with my hair.
Later on, I couldn't afford to bus all the way down to Seattle for a haircut and so settled for the Salon Juno location in Bellevue. It was just as nice and offered the exact same services but in the heart of Bellevue.
My hairstylist was Gina, and she is extremely sweet and talented. :) She's also a perfectionist, so you can rest assured that there won't be an uneven ends (unless you want them there). She'll listen to what you want and make an effort to give it to you.
She's done my updo for prom, cut my hair several times, advised me what salon products to use for my hair, dyed it for me - and each and every time she has given me a subtle, beautiful haircut.
They also do the Japanese Magic perm thing where they straighten your hair for an atrocious price. But I hear its wonderful. :)
I have gotten my haircut here a handful of times. I saw ____ each time, but he rushed through my haircuts so fast, that he was done within half an hour. I don't know about other people, but I like it when a stylist takes their time to do my hair. The cuts he gave me were ok, but I don't know if they were worth the $60 I used to pay.
If you are looking for someone to take great care of your hair, come see Karen at Salon Juno. Just left after getting the best haircut I've ever had. Karen is super friendly, and very attentive to whatever services you might require...Come in and give Karen and Salon Juno a try, you will not regret it!!
Okay, after my girl left the Seattle Salon Juno, I decided to give the Bellevue Salon Juno a try. My assigned stylist (of whom I cannot remember his name) was wrapping things up with his previous customer as I waited. I took notice of this particular tall blonde's hair as she left. So I go into the specifics of what I want, yaddy-yadda, and the appointment ensued. In the end, my hair looked just like that of blondie (the stylist's previous custy). Geez, he gave me a cookie-cutter cut! It didnt' look bad per se, but nothing special. I can laugh in hindsight, but it was not worth it. I had buyer's remorse.
I have gone to Salon Juno a few times now. Most recently, I've had my hair cut, straightened and colored. Although I love my new stylist, I have never left feeling that they accomplished what I've asked for.
I'm not picky, I asked for dramatic cut like Meg Ryan and colors, I provided a pic. My new cute is cute but I have a professional cut similar to Star Reynolds.
